Fast & Easy for small meals, easy clean up
Pro's: heats quickly, easy to program, doesn't heat up kitchen, does salmon filet's and winter squash beautifully, automatically goes from cook mode to warm mode at end of programmed time, easy to experiment with because the food is very visible as it cooks, 100% DISHWASHER CLEANUP, 30-50% less cook time than regular oven.Con's: Needs 15x20" counter space, including the area to tip the dome open to get to the food, won't fit inside my cabinets so it pretty much sits out all the time, very few recipes in the small book that comes with it.

A piece of Junk distributed by a croocked and lousy company
Many years ago, I had a convection oven. It did not use infra shmimfra red light, just a good old heating element and a powerful fan to move the air. It was a fantastic appliance, the family used it till its motor and thermostat literally disintegrated (about 10 years). We much mourned the old fellow.Around that time these devices went out of style and I could not, for the lights of me, find a replacement. Last year I saw a TV add for the Flavorwave with all its electronic controls and infra red hoopladoo. I got excited, found it on Amazon and bought it. Too bad for me...This is nothing like what I used to have, the Infrared heater and the fan are just too wimpy to cook well, the electronic temperature control is a joke. The food does not cook evenly or often times at all. Food takes too long, comes unevenly undercooked, in short a total bust. The electronic module became erratic after about a dozen uses, it appears that it is not designed to withstand elevated temperatures for extended periods of time. The company refused to honor the warranty under the pretense that item was not purchased directly from them. When I insisted, they offered to sell me a new electronic module at a discounted price, I politely refused.Moral of the story, $100+ down the drain. On the positive side, the few times the electronic control does work, the infra red element produces a very powerful light, it looks neat... The food? Well forget about that !!!

I really love this machine and thought about just ordering another dome
We bought our flavor wave 15 years ago and the plastic dome just broke 30 minutes ago from a crack that was in it for several years. I seen people post that theirs lasted less than 2 years. Perhaps they changed the build quality over the years. I really love this machine and thought about just ordering another dome. However, The power bottons on top are literally worn off from using so much that we are considering buying a new one. Now that i see that people are having problems with them not lasting long i may switch to the nuwave oven. Will have to do my homework before i buy.

flavorwave oven deluxe
cooks chicken nicely, i used it quite a bit at first, but then gradually the new wore off. it has been retired to the cabinet for it's term until i get tired of looking at it there; will eventuallybe given to the charity of my choice.

WORKS WELL BUT...
This is my second convection oven of this design. The other one, which I purchased years ago, the motor gave out, so I disposed of it.The Flavorwave Deluxe works fairly well, but doesn't do everything that the company says.My first gripe is, if you try to cook frozen food, like the infomercial says, it takes much much longer to cook, while they give you the impression that you can go from the freezer to the oven, that's true, but the cooking time increases greatly. My second complaint, they tell you that it's not necessary for you to flip what your cooking, not true, you do need to flip, otherwise the bottom won't be properly cooked. And last but not least, because there is not much heat circulating on the bottom, you can't cook frozen pizza in this oven, the bottom crust will not get brown and crispy, but will be soggy and raw.If you flip your food, and allow extra time for food to cook, because their cooking times are not accurate, then this is a fairly good product.

Great product and a conservatively and healthy way to cook
This is actually a replacement oven to one that I have had for over three years and used nearly every day. The plastic dome on my original oven had cracked and unfortunately when trying to find a new one, I learned that the company was no longer making these convectional ovens. I really wanted another one just like the one I had used and enjoyed for over three years. They are such a great alternative to conventional ovens that have to be pre-heated, use much more electricity and dry food out when cooking.... I just HAD to find another one. My wonderful friends at Amazon came through for me again in having a couple of new ones to choose from. I not only got a new oven, but also a new friend in the vendor who was selling it on Amazon! She kept me posted on every step of the transaction, to include checking and forwarding the tracking information after she had taken it for delivery. A most satisfactory experience all the way around! I am so happy, happy, happy to have another oven, to have had the great experience again in dealing with Amazon, and in finding a new friend. Thank you!

Flavorwave oven really works
I bought my Flavorwave oven about 4 years ago and I would never want to be without it. In fact I purchased another one as a back up. It cooks quickly and the chicken and meat come out tender and juicy. The proof is in the taste. Better than larger grills that you have to use outside in the hot weather, and it fits into the dishwasher.

FlavorWave Oven Deluxe
The first oven I received did not work at all. The replacement I received worked for a few days then died. I then asked for a refund which I only received going through Amazon, THANKS!.
