D1 Performance Cooling Dock for Apple Retina MacBook Pro and MacBook Air laptops

Huge improvement in cooling. Load temps while using Ableton Live dropped 14 degrees C.That being said, it's loud. This is a an 80MM fan basically forcing air against a wall of aluminum which unavoidably creates noise. There is nothing special about the fan and there is no speed control, so I am going to have to look at different places in the room I can place so I don't have to listen to the fan. Really at this price point, it's a mystery why a 120MM or 140MM fan is not used.

This thing is seriously solid, making for a very heavy heat sink and stable upright stand. The quality couldn’t be better, perfectly matching the Mac finish. Excited to have more desktop free space and to have the peace of mind from the extra cooling and performance. It is about time someone created a product like this!

A great product that has literally saved my MacBook Air. I'd been using stand and my laptop was still screaming during editing sessions. Chad from Svalt was super helpful - he went to a lot of extra trouble to email me and explain how the SVALT D works, and why it's effective. Highly recommended. It's also a cool looking product.
