Sta-Lube SL3121 Water-Resistant Marine Grease - 14 oz. Tub , Blue

I use this for greasing all the bearings (bottom bracket, hubs, headset, pedals etc.) of my vintage touring bicycles. It works very well for this purpose, as the grease seems to resist moisture exposure (rain storms, puddles) better than traditional wheel bearing grease does. The consistency of this grease is slightly different (thicker) than traditional bearing grease. I've noticed no difference in rolling resistance compared to using regular grease. Good stuff!

After several trips, the bearings continue to perform smoothly without any signs of water intrusion. However, I noticed that the grease is a bit more challenging to clean off compared to others I’ve used, likely due to its water-resistant properties. Despite this minor inconvenience, I believe it’s a reliable choice for protecting trailer bearings in wet conditions.

It's StaLube, what else is there to say. Time will tell on the newer formula.

This grease is perfect for boat trailer bearings. It is very water resistant, and has a high melting point. I have it for years (though I see the formulation has changed a little over the years).

I bought this grease to coat the poles of my bird feeders to keep critters from climbing up. It’s working. So far.
