Arduino: 101 Beginners Guide: How to get started with Your Arduino (Tips, Tricks, Projects and More!)

I will keep this brief as there are lots of 1 star reviews for this "pamphlet".I feel like this was intended to be part of an ardunio kit or a supplemental manual for a more meaningful user manual.it is just an FYI reference. i.e what is an LED, what is a push-button...If I can't return this, it is going in the garbage, I think that sums up how valuable this waste of paper is.

I'm using a raspberry pi 2 at the moment, and heard of arduino and wanted to try it. I still can't say which is better of the two but as I see it they're kinda the same in means of installation and programming. This book is yes for beginners. The instructions given are clear and easy to follow even to people who doesn't have any background in this field. The chapter that deals with the common mistakes is also a great help.Been lucky to get a free ebook about windows 10. It's so generous for the author. Atleast now I can call cortana to do some work for me.

This technology is amazing and its unbelievable how it and others that were once only available to industry or the military is now available to the public at an affordable price. If you are a hobbyist or robotics enthusiast, or just someone fascinated by it all, you need this book!!! It is exciting to see how these technologies are evolving and how the people are the true innovators of this technology. I can't wait to see how far this stuff evolves and how robotics will play an ever increasing role in our day to day lives.

DON'T waste your money! (Did you notice that I can spell the correct usage of WASTE??) I've seen more usable information on the inside jacket cover of some books than in the entire FIFTEEN pages of this piece of trash. The author should be ashamed for putting his name on this. It's so small it's not even useful enough to start a fire with, and I could have learned more about Arduino by taking this six bucks and buying some geek a double mocha non-fat no-whip latte at StarDucks.

This book covers all the bases for beginners to arduino, from software to hardware to even step by step instructions to download the software. Just like most IT materials, it also has a troubleshooting chapter. I appreciated most the author's recommendations on the different of boards to buy and a suggested list of projects to start things off.

After researching several micro-controllers for some time now, I decided to use the ARDUINO mainly because it is open source. This gives me the advantage of being able to tweak the software as I see fit. In comparison, it is one of the best available in the open-source market but needs to be mastered first. That's where this book comes in. It will teach you everything you need to know to effectively use this controller. It is by far the best beginner's guide for the ARDUINO. I highly recommend it.

More of a pamphlet than a book. I was expecting more that a few dozen pages of basic terminology.

Contrary to the book's description, there are NO PROJECTS in this book.It is simply an introductory primer about how Arduino MIGHT be useful.You can find what little information this book provides in COUNTLESS sources.

£3.82 for this garbage?! I was expecting a much more substancial book containing a thorough beginners guide and plenty of little projects to get my son up and running, something he could refer to from time to time whilst he got used to his Arduino. I couldn't be more wrong!35 simple pages that could have been condensed to 10 of what appears to be a copy and paste from the user manual that comes with Arduino!Shocking!

Total rubbish, it looks as though it's been translated from some other language with Google translate or similar. By the time you get this book you've probably learned more from your internet searches and Wikipedia. There are no diagrams or pictures to help out (except for a photo of a couple of the author's dogs at the back!!!) Don't waste your money

IT STATES IN THE DESCRIPTION THERE ARE PROJECTS....THEY DON'T EXIST...ONLY AS AN INDEX TO CLICK ON, ONLY YOU CANT CLICK ON THEM...BECAUSE IT'S A BLOODY BOOK....COME ON AMAZON, DON'T TREAT US LIKE IDIOTS. GETTING A REFUND.

You will learn nothing of any use from this book. Clearly the text was never put through a spelling checker. I expected to find links to projects and guidance on prerequisites for programming Arduino boards with library structures outlined. None of this is included.

WARNING This book is NOT about the new "Arduino 101" product. Even for any Arduino this book is SO VAGUE and scanty that it is USELESS !
