The Tactical Electronic Klip, or TEK, is compatible with most portable radios and walkie-talkies in use today; including Motorola, Harris, Kenwood, and Midland, to name a few. The TEK also works well with many other portable devices that utilize a clip on the back. Regardless of how you carry it, your portable radio is arguably the most important piece of equipment you carry. However, it needs to be easily accessible and ready to use at all times. The TEK allows you the ability to easily remove and replace your portable radio from your belt, without having to turn the radio upside-down. The TEK also allows for easy access to the speaker and keypad because there is no bulky holster covering the device. Your radio doesn't work if you don't have it with you. No longer a concern of tearing your pants’ pockets, or leaving your radio in the car, or on your desk. Easily access your radio at all times; on the street, in your car, or sitting in your favorite chair, your radio will always be there. The TEK was invented by the same law enforcement officer that invented the Tactical Mic Klip. Use them together for a complete portable communication retention system. Proudly made in the USA! Patented Product.

Great quality, didn't work with my specific radio.
I was excited to purchase this. However, it does not work well with the Motorola xts 1500 radio. It is too loose in the holder. If the front of the clip was flat, it would work much better for my radio. I did find another use for it, using it as a mic clip on my "go" bag. Quality is great and I am sure it works well with some radios, just not my current issued Motorola. I am glad I found another use for it.

So close!
Very nice, wish it actually fit my work radio, just a -hair- off...we use motorola XPR 7550, don't really like the leather holsters, thought this would be a great alternative.Aside from my inability to use it, it seems sturdy, and clips on my nylon belt without letting it wiggle around. It doesn't slide around on my nylon belt, but it does slide a bit on my leather duty belt, which also has no wiggle room.

Plainclothes option. NOT FOR UNIFORM GUYS
I tested these when they first came out as a part of my uniform work. It's just not tough enough for uniform work. The clip also makes it a bit too easy to remove the radio for uniform patrol. I use one everyday in plainclothes work. For a guy who wears slacks and suits everyday, this thing is awesome. Saves my pockets and keeps me from having to fight the clip on and off of my belt.

It is a really nice product, however my radio has a unique belt clip that is hooked at the top (see attached photos). This makes removing the radio difficult as there is a certain amount of struggling involved to remove the radio and this is problematic. That being said, I would consider this product for future radios now that I know what to look out for.

TMK-TEK review
This radio holder works well and takes up far much less room on my belt than other styles of radio holders. I haven't had any issues with my radio falling off or moving. While it isn't super secure that depends on the clip your radio uses. The holder seems to be good quality and it has held up well so far. I would definitely recommend this radio clip.

Good
Works welll especially if used with the microphone cord. The rubber elastic keeps the radio in place and secure. It sort of sticks out from off the belt. The elastic is hard to get off to take the whole radio from off of the clip. However after having this for less then a year the elastic pop now its garbage. Good while it lasted

Was an ok alternative for a while to just putting the new radio in the old holster. It makes the radio with the belt clip protrude too far from my dutybelt though, and it wiggles around unless blocked in by other gear. Ended up buying a custom kydex holder for the radio instead that is much more solid

but I do not like this. One
Interesting concept, but I do not like this. One, it doesn't fit my belt clip all the way...I have a Motorola XPR 3500. The TMK is much better and I actually use that all the time. This TEK will be sitting on my table because it simply won'y hold my radio correctly. I'll be ordering the OEM Motorola radio carrier for my duty belt.
