Makes watering your lawn that much easier
These inground sprinklers provide a way to quickly water your lawn without repositioning the sprinkler each time. Once they are buries, just grab the hose and plug it in to water your lawn. The sprinklers shoot a solid 35ft and distribute water fairly evenly. Adjusting the aim is very easy, and at $30 each, the price is excellent. I noted a few issues below, but overall I'm very satisfied with these sprinklers. You should be aware of a few important things before ordered these sprinklers. First, you have to dig a 10-12" deep whole, which may be difficult if you have hard rock beneath your lawn. When filling the hole, follow the instructions and use plenty of rock, or water will collect around the sprinkler and drown it. If you are placing the sprinkler in a low area of your lawn, you'll want to bury it at a slightly higher elevation (maybe 1") or it will end up in a puddle of water after 15 minutes of use. Definitely do not allow the head to end up below the ground level. You could also dig a larger hole and add more rocks to drain away the water, then cover the rock with a layer of soil. Also, the sprinkler sprays a fair amount of water perpendicular to the stream as part of the rotating mechanism. This contributes to the puddle of water near the sprinkler head, and also means a fair amount of water will be wasted on the driveway.

work great, when they work
I purchased 2 3-packs of these systems. Hooked them up to a timer, and when they work, they work great! The problem is, 2 of them were broke, and of course, I didn't realize this until they were both in the ground. Not easy to get them back out! One leaks really bad in the sprinkler housing and the other didn't go back and forth. The others, however, work great! Fairly easy to get into the ground. With the quick disconnects, it makes it very easy to water. Just make sure you're not standing in the way lol. The water spray distance can be easily adjusted with a screw at the tip of the sprinkler, and they do indeed spray up to 35 feet. Set these up with a timer, and you'll never over or under water again!I would have rated these a 5 if they all worked. We'll see how well the manufacturer deals with replacement parts. (worst case scenario, they do sell replacement sprinkler heads for $5 each. Also, it is actually cheaper to buy 3 individual sprinklers rather than the 3pack, which is kind of dumb if you ask me...

Perfect Automatic Sprinkler System
Instead of a garden hose, I used 1/2 in. poly drip irrigation hose, with hose end adapters, to connect four sprinklers around the perimeter of the yard. Each sprinkler is connected to a separate Orbit Watering Timer. All four timers are set to function independently for a set time, one after the other. The first one pops up and waters for a set time and then quits. The second one pops up five minutes later and waters for it's set time and quits, and so on, until all four have finished watering the entire back yard. This way, I keep water pressure up, and don't have to disconnect and re-connect each one with a garden hose. It's the perfect solution to installing an automatic sprinkler system without having to dig trenches for underground water lines. I ran the poly tubing around the perimeter of the yard in the most out of the way places and hooked each line to a separate battery operated watering timer. These sprinklers are so far working great. Prepare to get wet when first adjusting these things, but once set, they function very well. Now I just sit and watch the entire back yard being watered in perfect synchronicity.

Time Saver
I was a little hesitant to rate this five stars. When I received my order of three sprinklers, one of them did not work properly. I found that out after I put it in the hole and buried it. So let that be your first lesson. When you get these hold onto the sprinkler (very tightly) and test them to make sure they work properly. To replace the bad one, they had to send me another set of three sprinklers. I took one that worked and sent my bad one back with the other two they sent me. Not the fault of anyone, it just wasn't an easy process. All this hassle aside, once these are in place in the ground they are fantastic. It is so nice to not have to move a sprinkler in several different places in my yard to water it. The pulsating sprinkler is very effective even with the wind blowing. Once in place and all shipping/malfunctioning issues resolved, this is a purchase I'm very happy with.

yes it's easy
a neighbor of mine turned me on to this system so i ordered my first 3 pack last year. i was able to install the units in about a half hour each and set them about 60-70 feet apart. i opened the spray screw all the way for max distance and have been very pleased with the results. this year i ordered two more sets to finish the main part of my yard and got all 6 units in and on in less than two hours. because my yard has wierd corners i have a few hot spots that i still have to hand water to prevent browning but the rest of the yard gets done so much faster and efficiently it doesn't bother me to hit those couple of areas. i am now debating on whether or not to try the smaller units for an area between houses too narrow for the larger units. overall the 9 units i have cover almost a 1/4 acre very effectively. i've thanked my neighbor and shown many others this product.

Great Solution and Very Durable
I got these to add to several I had gotten years ago. I have a small nursery where I hybridize plants so that I am always moving things about and always have to dig areas that were covered with grass as we expand. Thus a dedicated system is costly and too static. This system is easily installed and connects quickly.I have found that they do well over winter and we are in Zone 5-6 so we get deep frost lines. Thus far after several years there has been no problem. It takes a year to cover up with grass and become invisible again. The top is durable and can withstand reasonable foot traffic. The area of coverage is about a 10' radius at best and that may depend somewhat on delivered water pressure. I have not seen a difference between a 5/8" hose and a 1/2" hose however.Combined with soaker hoses for deep watering of growing beds this is the best choice for keeping the grass green.
