Easy to stick in a pocket, quick visual guide that will help with identification for more research later. Not sophisticated but plasticized so durable and not heavy like my books. I'll review again after a trip to Alaska.

We got married on an Alaska cruise and included these in everyone's gift bags. Everyone loved them! My only frustration was that I couldn't order all I needed at one time (it showed a really long shipping window), so I had to order them in smaller batches to get them in time. One batch was a little bent, but still usable.

I bought these for my two Alaskan grandsons, ages 7 and 9. They love the outdoors and learning about the animals and how to be safe in the woods and were so excited to receive these pocket guides. They remarked about how easily they will fit in their backpacks. It's nice these guides are laminated and they are easy to use. Very satisfied with this purchase!

Bought to take on holiday in September. Handy size to carry around in your pocket or bag for easy access. Would have preferred more information on land wildlife and less on fish and invertebrates. Other than that a good and well illustrated pocket guide.
