I purchased this is 2015 I had no issues until know, it worked just fine I told friends and co works about this great dash cam. and how will it works and how satisfied I am with my Kehan purchase. Today 6/21/16 I plug my Kehan dash cam in my car the voice that greets me every day sounds like it been under water and I can't figure out what happen between taken it out my car and putting it back in my car the same things I do every day. I can't even understand what the voice is saying If I didn't already know "Lane Departure" and "Kahan wishes you a good Journey" "See you soon" I hope this problem can be fixed I will contact the manufacture and see what they can tell me. Great product but you have to watch out for this glitch...If I find out any thing more I will right another review.

I purchased this dashcam on June 9th, 2015. Within the year, the dashcam was experiencing issues. It would turn off unexpectedly and so seemed somewhat unreliable off the bat, but I gave it a chance seeing as I'd just paid $189 and it had a warranty. The last straw was this past July. I got into my car, after a long day of work, and the unit was extremely hot. I noticed this because the greeting, when I enter the car, was garbled and inaudible. Upon closer inspection, the cam's body had split down the sides. It would not clip back together and obstructed the usb port, not allowing me to plug in the cable. I also noted that the memory card was now stuck inside.I contacted customer service who didn't help me at all. I sent them pictures 3 times and my last correspondence with them was July 25th. I highly doubt they're going to do anything at this stage. Terrible product and even worse customer service. Do not buy from this company.Update 10/19/16 After some back and forth, customer service finally offered to ship me another unit, which I installed in my wife's car. It seems to be working, like the last one did, but I'm waiting to see if this one has any problems down the line. Time will tell

Manual can be a little better by being more descriptive especially on how to change the date. Trying to send in the warranty card via e-mail was a nightmare. Getting assessories also could be more forthcoming. The dash cam itself is very good. The clarity on the pictures were/are excellent.

The camera does run warm but has held up so far in my truck in full sun. I'm a commercial driver and wanted something with a higher memory capacity and enough resolution to capture numbers on vehicles. This camera has worked for that. I do regret that it does not have any sort of Zoom feature so that images cannot be captured in a narrower range at a higher resolution. But it does interface well with the Windows computer. The feature it has for saving files is a bit odd in that it saves a thirty second chunk after you press the button.Other reviews are correct In at the instruction manual is lacking.

PROSThe picture, the gps, and the accident detection auto save.CONSSuction cup broke, accident detection is sensitive and stores lots of videos which clogs memory. It also stores an auto save when you take it off the clip to put it away. To avoid an auto save you have to hold down the power button until it turns off which is annoying.

The video quality is excellent. The problem I have is the suction is super cheap so the unit constantly falls off the windshield ed and smashes on my dash. The other issue is I constantly have to reset the unit via the pin sized reset button because it either freezes or won't record or the image is distorted.Update- customer service just gave excuses for why it operates poorly. I'm throwing this thing in the garbage and finding a better one. Too bad because I bought this based on the reviews that I had read about it but I'm regretful I bought it. It's a piece of trash. I only give it 2 stars because when it is working properly the video quality and playback are great. But I constantly have to hit the pin sized reset button to get it to workAn update. My xamera crapped out on me. Its been exactly a year. I will never buy this brand again

The camera quality is pretty good but the software that comes with it is awful (geoplayer), crashed, video and map don't sync up, speed is also only on km/h, there is an option for mph but it doesn't make any difference, it is only showing km/h. Software requires Apple Quicktime. If you are running Windows 8, 8.1 or Windows 10, it wont work.I also tried to use the RegistrationViewer program to view the file, the video and the map sync up in RegistrationViewer but I then also realize that the video capture from this unit also don't have any G-Sensor measurement as well as altitude and the speed is also only get interpreted by RegistrationViewer as km/h.I have high hope about this product but given the price, it is truly a disappointment, I would recommend you folks to look for some other units.I will review reconsider reviewing this unit again, if the unit has been improved but until then, avoid this unit.

The Kehan dash cam is small and easy to conceal, my only problem is it is so hard to tuck in the usb cable i just hope that one of these days I can really use it. But for the meantime it will just be kept hanging on my windshield and will try to tuck in the next few days.
