Poignant and important guidebook!
I was riveted and deeply moved by Hannah's story and quite impressed with her transparency and honest storytelling of her own history of sexual abuse by her older brother and the impact it had on her through various stages of her life. Because she is a therapist she also guides the reader step by step through a journey of healing, providing a path and hope for other survivors. Her down to earth style and personal vulnerability draws the reader close and captivates the heart. I also found her sense of humor both inspiring and soothing. What a fabulous therapist she must be!As a therapist myself I am pleased to have such a great resource to refer clients to. Because this issue is so entrenched with shame it is rare to find people self-disclosing their own personal stories and how they found healing. This book is a true gem, offering a healing path and deep encouragement to others struggling. Thank you "Hannah", for your incredible courage and concern for others.

Psychological disorders have their roots buried deep in past sibling sexual traumas
It’s difficult to even imagine how many psychological disorders have their roots buried deep in past sibling sexual traumas. Like many things that are hidden away in our culture, they eventually see the light of day when courageous people such as Hannah Cartwright decide to pull back the veil. Many others will step forward after reading this book that exposes the damage done and that also lays out a path of recovery toward not letting your past define you. I might also add that this book was written with humility and a bit of humor, which I found quite amazing in itself.Dhara Lemos, Lotus Guide
