Good machine
Would give it a 5 except for price. It doesn't have as many patterns in the soptware as a brothers PE770; The thread tension is mecanically adjusted where the Brothers is electronically adjusted. The threader is harder to learn than the 770. Basically except for unknowns, the Brothers PE770 is a better buy, a lot less money. The unknown is: I believe it will be more durable than the 770. The Janome just appears to be a little more durable. The Janome hoop attaching mechanism is much better than the 770. Of course there is a lot of difference in the price..If money is a big issue, go with the Brothers otherwise chooze this one.
