Sound good and are very convenient
In recent years I’ve had a few ear phones from Samsung and Apple as well as more expensive ones by Monster and have been underwhelmed. The sound I heard wearing them tended to sound quite flat. Some of this is because I prefer to use over-ear headphones with big drivers with good range and bass. But sometimes I would like to have some ear phones to take with me. I haven’t tried wireless headphones before; they are typically quite expensive and after my previous poor experiences with a broad range of wired earphones I was reluctant to try different, more expensive ones. When the opportunity to try these Tosheng in-ear wireless phones came along, I decided to give it another go.Firstly, when the packaging arrived I was quite impressed. From the start you get the impression that Tosheng are making a real effort. The packaging is frustration-free but carefully designed to feel special and upmarket. There is a neat box with separate compartments, and a tasteful silver logo is printed on two separate compartments. The box itself has rounded edges so it almost looks like a bamboo box. It’s a nice touch that I appreciated and it gave me a positive first impression before I even saw the earphones. The two compartments inside the box contained the earphones themselves and what feels like a water-resistant drawstring bag. A tiny ziplock bag with two extra sets of ear plugs and accessories to support the earpieces in your ear. There is also a very small but legible folded instruction pamphlet and usb cable.A quick flip through the instructions told me to charge the earphones for 1.5 hours before using the earphones and that the unit comes with a short micro USB cable for that purpose. A simple diagram shows the various features and buttons and I was intrigued by the tables at the back of the manual that go over the hands-free functionality.SetupAfter a charge the earphones were flashing red and blue somewhat like a police car. The light was surprisingly bright. This is basically the state the earphones are in when looking for a Bluetooth pairing. Pairing with a device was easy enough on my Android phone, so long as Bluetooth is enabled. If you go to Bluetooth settings in android and press search for devices button you will see the earphones listed as G6 with a headset icon besides it. Press on G6 on the list and a female voice in the earphones will announce Bluetooth connected. (I accidentally changed the language to what was Chinese at one point while mashing the buttons) but managed to get it back to English again.I found out that the small rocker switch for +/ – volume(short press) or next/previous track (long press) has a language function if you long press in between. The button on the face of the right earphone has all your hands-free mobile phone controls which take some time to master if, like me, you don’t normally use a handsfree headset. These earphones sound decent out of the box and with an equalizer app like Bass Boost for android you can tweak the ranges to get more bass and midrange to produce a pleasing sound for most types of music. I listen to Rock, Hard Rock, 80’s and 90’s pop and RnB and was very satisfied with the sound quality. The other big plus to having wireless earphones so your cable will not snag on your clothes or the edge of the table when you get out of your chair. Neither will it snag on the door handle when you try to squeeze through before it closes. It does add a lot of freedom and they don’t look bad either. The small drawstring carry case is nice because it is small and will easily fit into your pocket. It will even fit into the annoyingly small pockets women’s jeans tend to have. And the bag keeps dirt and moisture away from the earbuds when you’re not wearing them.Overall, I am very happy with these earphones. It’s been a long time since I found a pair that were worth carrying about. The only slight issue I had with them was that the rocker switch is a little vague on the top side but it works just fine. Finding the buttons can also be a bit tricky at first but with subsequent use you soon learn where they are and no longer have to search for them.

Not bad at all.
Not bad. I LOVE these style of Bluetooth headsets. This one is slightly different from my very first pair I got over a year ago. They are the same shape but this one is not as finished as my current set. The sound quality is not as clear as my QCY set but is pretty good. It has a nice balance of sound and the bass is sufficient. The sound quality is not like those expensive Beats or bose headphones, but it’s good enough for the price point. These go in the ear so it does block sound out. It blocks noise out so well that when I’m using these in the office, I can get more work done because I don’t hear the chatter of people around me.These use your standard micro usb cables so there’s no fear if you lose the cable that this set comes with. It charges up full in about an hour from dead and right out of the box it charged up in about 30 minutes. The battery life lasts me about 3 work days before needing to be recharged and that includes using it while on the way home from work which is a one hour minimum drive to and from the office. When using this for phone calls, you must leave the left ear piece hanging down around your neck. The microphone is on that earpiece. If you leave it in your ear, the person on the other end will not hear you clearly because the mic will be by your ear. The one thing this set is missing is a clip so you can clip that ear piece onto your collar for phone calls. If you’re like me and always moving around, if the earpieces shuffles around, the person on the phone can hear all the movement. Also, the volume button. It is very temperamental. When I try to hit volume up, I barely touch it and it adjusts volume. When I press down on it adjust volume it has a slow reaction. It’s almost like it works like a touch screen. Holding down the volume up and down buttons while listening to music will skip forward and back on your song list. With very minimal buttons, this is a very easy headset to use. It comes with an instructional booklet complete with photo to show you where the buttons and mic are.It comes with multiple ear pieces so you can change them out to the most comfortable size for you.I was provided a promotional sample for my honest review.

Easy and Comfortable
A great multi-pairing Bluetooth headset allows two phones to connect at the same time. It paired quickly with Galaxy S4 and iPhone. It feels comfortable and the strap is a very lightweight lanyard that doesn't weigh down the earpiece. Once in, I forgot I was wearing it.The sound is clear and the buttons are easy to learn and access. It's a very nice headset and a good value. Recommended.Item received free for evaluation and review.
