Easy to install in an HP laptop. Do your homework to match your model. I went to YouTube to watch a demo on how to open your laptop which is a must. Turns out using a guitar pick is the key. It is thin enough to open the seam and flexible enough to not damage the case. Once inside, it only takes a couple of minutes to pull the old one and replace. The video will show you how to do that and close the laptop securely. Once installed, keep your charger on the new battery. This may take hours, so do not be alarmed. Once charged, boot up and you might get some message on your screen momentarily but shortly your icons on the home page will return and you are back in business. We have used this PC for several months now on a daily basis. Charges to 100% and is no different than the HP brand when new, except the price was substantially lower, and that was after HP had theirs on sale.

Works fine, had no trouble installing. Kinda wish it came with the screws I needed though, my old ones were stripped.

Perfect fit, great charge rate, currently going perfectly after 4 months, basically the exact same as an OEM HP battery. Perfectly compatible with my 14dq1039 HP laptop. Will update if anything changes.

I've had to repair an old HP Pavillion 17-ar050wm twice now, and let me tell you it's a hell of a process to pry the case open all around it's edge without destroying the suckers. The really funny part is that the Laptop doesn't function with a bad battery in it, but removing the battery will allow it to power on while plugged in: a very clear cut case of planned obsolesce.Placing these new battery replacements will completely restore full functionality so long as the operating system is in good working condition and the fans are clear of debris.Keep in mind the screws for the board and these generic batteries do not always align, but the larger and most important one does and that is all that really matters.

Arrive on time easy to install and get my laptop back up and running no problem

The seller shows a different picture than what the product is. I was expecting to receive a battery with a verified capacity of 5150 mAh, as described in the image. However, what I received does not confirm this value anywhere.When installed, the battery doesn't perform even half of what the battery promises! So I think this looks like it is not in good condition. If I received a product that is damaged, I will then wait for the seller to communicate and present a solution, to update this review.Note: The seller should update their product with original images of what the buyer will receive; otherwise the seller would be falling into the error of showing a product that is not what is described.
