Quite large on the hips & certainly not elegant but for around the house & garden I found them perfect. Will order another pair. The fleece lining is wonderfully soft and warm too. I washed these before putting them on for the first time and they washed very well indeed, keeping their colour, texture and shape. I ordered them in a size 16 based on the reviews which mentioned they came up small - unfortunately, the size 16 is a bit too big for me, so I will keep this pair for indoor use, they will come in handy in my cold, Edwardian flat. Such a shame that this retailer isn't stocking them in sizes 12 and 14 on Amazon. I've since ordered a black pair in size 10; these arrived today, 19/11/20 and I'm pleased to say they fit me very well. I'm usually a size 10-12 in skirts and trousers and would say that these are quite generously-sized 10.
