So from my perspective, I can say the light is a nice calming yellow hue unlike the cold harsh LED lights. It is fairly concentrated and focuses primarily on the book leaving me in relative darkness. It has a swivel top so you can angle the light where you need it. I've been able to sleep with no problems.From her perspective, she likes the light weight such that it doesn't weigh down her book when clipped on the back. She finds that the light illuminates the whole page well without a focal concentration of light. She likes that you have to slide the bulb arm up to turn it on. Previous lights turned on when you unfolded it and she'd frequently accidentally knock the light over, opening it inadvertantly resulting in the light being on all night and wasting batteries.Which brings me to the AC and battery pack adapters. Overall she prefers the AC wall version. The cord that connects it to the wall is a little annoying to get used to but she enjoys not having to find batteries all the time. The previous LED ones we used had button batteries that were either impossible to find or pretty expensive. An older model that used AA batteries would gradually get dimmer and dimmer as the batteries drained which was annoying. The battery adapter for the Itty Bitty light is huge and heavy so this is not a portable reading light at all. This will remain in our home and when we travel, she'll just use the small portable LED light from before. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Product description, misleading *by K***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 24, 2020* The product is actually awesome! However in the description, it’s stated there was a spare lightbulb included, NOT INCLUDED! I emailed the seller, and they said they knew it was wrong information, but Amazon has not changed it. It wasn’t bad enough for me to ask for a refund, but I still think it was wrong that they did not accommodate a spare bulb when it was supposed to be included in the first place. Overall I love the product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Great Improvements on New Itty Bitty Booklight *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 2, 2013* The new Itty Bitty Booklight has some nice improved features. The on/off is activated by moving the arm out and in rather than a switch on the device. Much easier! The shade on the lamp is black and bigger so it focuses the light more on the book and keeps it out of my husband's eyes. It is lighter and a little smaller as advertised. The shade rotates too easily though so it's hard to keep it facing down. I don't know if that's just the one I got or if it is a design flaw.
