Review: Well-made, versatile, excellent value. - I've been using three of these well-made & versatile lights for several years: 1. in my small travel bag, 2. hanging in a room with several poorly lighted places; 3. in my night stand or pocket after dark. I value: small size with plenty of output for small places, like behind/under furniture, in drawers, closet; charge rapidly & hold charge well; easier to carry & to shield light than cell phone flashlight. That allows me to use it without disturbing my sleeping spouse; hold charge well & recharge quickly.
Review: Outstanding design, well made, strong lighting from a small package - I love this flashlight! First of all, NO MORE REPLACING BATTERIES! The fact that it's A) rechargeable and B) comes with it's own min-usb charging cable is just awesome. I take these camping and wear one around my neck on a lanyard. I have one clipped to my dog's leash, for finding his 'deposits' while out on walks at night, I keep one in my car, in case I need it. It recharges fully in about and hour and has two beam brightness levels, weak and strong. The weaker setting is great for being in your tent for a bit of ambient light while bedding down for the night. The strong setting is surprisingly bright, and lights up a good sized area. One cannot focus the beam, but it's not really that kind of light. This is clearly meant to be a small, well made, easy to use and charge, personal flashlight. If you want "tactical lighting that can blind a dude, this isn't what you want. But if you want a small, easy to carry/wear, bright mini flashlight that doesn't go thru batteries, comes with a charging cable (now) and puts out hella bright, useable light that is highly useful in a variety of situations, I cannot recommend this enough! As in, you should get this! I've bought several, and they make fantastic small, affordable gifts.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you lose the end cap? Will the key ring end unscrew completely from the body? (My problem with keyring flashlights that unscrew to turn off)**
A: No. You unscrew till it slides open just enough to reveal charging port. When not charging the two will be screwed together by several threads, which are dust sealed by an o-ring.
The o-ring also keeps it from coming unthreaded. I carry mine in my front pocket and have never had it come apart or accidentally get turned on.

**Q: So at max output it only last 5 min?**
A: After 8 months of owning this light- I finally used it. It last about 10 min on high then lasted another 5- 10 min on low. Pretty good I think after having it charged 8 months ago. I will buy more for my family’s keychains.

**Q: Does this flat head micro usb cable fit into a normal usb wall charger adapter? I've never seen a usb charger with a flat charger end?**
A: I've been using a previous version of this light , 130 lumens for more than a year.  It is my EDC that I have on my keychain.  I use the provided USB cable to charge from my office computer. Perhaps the photo is deceiving, as the USB head is the same as every other USB cable I have seen, and the small end fits into the light.   I would not expect any different result when using a USB charger adapter. When Olight put these 150 lumen lights on sale, I bought a dozen to give to family and friends.  For the size, they are a must.  Put it on your keychain.  Hook it on your dog's collar during night time walks.  It is bright enough to be a handy aid, always at your fingertips.

**Q: Is the battery replaceable? If so what battery?  Could you use a regular battery in an emergency?**
A: Sorry, it can not replace the battery. The battery is 70mAh 3.7V Li-ion Battery (built-in).

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bright, durable and dependable

I have two of these little keychain lights and they are a great addition to your standard keychain load out. The new models are a gigantic improvement over the older models in that they do not come apart (the old models actually separated in half when you charged them) and charging is as easy as twisting the two halves until the mini-USB port is exposed. The light has two modes: low and high (5/150 lumens, respectively) -both are useful, but using the light at it's highest setting will only yield you ~20 minutes of bright, useable light that steps down slightly after about 5 minutes. On low, you're usage will be measured in hours. Additionally, the i1R 2 EOS will hold a charge for months. Literally; if you only use it occasionally for a few seconds here or there, expect to get a looooong charge out of this light. Otherwise, burn time will be consistent with my above review, but your mileage may vary from unit to unit. The i1R 2 EOS is a durable, bright and useful keychain assistant and much better than your typical LED keylight. It's generally weather-proof, but I wouldn't risk submerging it underwater; for most other uses, it should serve you well. My only gripe (and it's minor one), is the long charge time -roughly an hour and a half. That said, charging is easy and when the light is fully charged, the LED above the micro USB port will glow blue (when the battery is low/charging, the LED will glow red). All-in-all, the Olight i1R 2 EOS is a very well-made, durable, bright and dependable LED keychain light. With even modest care, this tiny little brute of a light will serve you well for years.
