It just works
Small, well constructed. There is a green LED that shows when it's powered up which is on the dim side. Bright enough to see if you are looking and not so bright as to throw a glow in the surrounding area. The included wiring diagram had me confused at first, as it looked like the screw connectors took AC power. They take 12V and no chassis ground connection is required. My supply powers a Bullet 2HP wifi amplifier 30' away from the POE with no problems in the month I've had it.

Great gizmo
*******************************UPDATE: March 2014Still working fine since Nov-2013!*******************************I've used these to replace the AC adapter that comes with Ubiquiti radios and they work perfect. Note, these don't regulate voltage, they simply passthru whatever voltage is supplied to them. EX: 12v in = 12v PoE; 24v in = 24v PoE and so on. Uses typical PoE standard so can be used with any many products utilizing PoE.

does not come with instructions
I have not gotten my device to work using this product. Customer service is non-existance and the email I received requesting a use manual was pretty much "you're on your own" type of response. They charge a 10% restocking fee for returns and do not cover shipping. I do not know how the dual power input works either.

Good value.
The price is right on this product and it performs exactly as is should. I am unsung this in a 36 foot sailboat to connect a wi-fi bullet antenna.

Great for 12 volt Poe.
I am not using this for its redundant power sources but solely with 12 volt DC. As I recall it does not come with a 110 volt adapter.

Great for use with battery/solar systems.
Works great with the open-mesh OM2p's. They have a LED on the top that is nice to see when they are getting power.
