Elephants: A Book for Children Paperback – September 8, 2015

Fantastic photos and great info!! This is a great book of interesting facts about elephants and beautiful photographs displayed on every page. I got this book for my 4 year year olds birthday because elephants are an absolute favorite. Fun book for all ages my 2, 4 and 6 year old all love it and it's one I enjoy as well.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my senior sister (75+) because this particular book has more photos than written script. The photography is amazing!!!! The reviews were strong on this and is what helped me to choose this book out of many offered. The title is “Elephants: A Book for Children” but it is definitely for all ages. The photos each have a script to describe what is being shown, not too much, just enough to help learn a particular trait or anatomy about these grand giants.This gift was in the top favorite for her.I Definitely RECOMMEND.

This is seriously an amazing book and it's large too! It's written for children but I learned so much about elephants! The photos are wonderful quality and fill the pages along with information and facts. My 2 years old is over the moon with every flip of the page - he loves elephants! Definitely get this book!!! You will not be disappointed!

This book is great for anyone who loves elephants, not just kids. Has lots of great pictures of African and Asian elephants. Lots of interesting elephant facts. Great book. Highly recommend.

this book is flat out awesome. the pictures are amazing and they really cover the whole spectrum of the elephant - from birth to old age. it's got a great amount of interesting facts and they're presented at a level that even my two year old daughter can (somewhat) understand. she absolutely loves this book - as soon as she gets home she goes about looking for "elephant book" and it gets read . . . over and over and over again. if your kid is into elephants or if you just want an educational book about some kind of animal, you can't go wrong here. just a great book.

My son LOVES elephants- he always has, so I was so excited to find this book. What I didn't expect is that I would end up being fascinated by elephants too. The text of this book is really interesting. The photographs are really beautiful, some bordering on breathtaking. My son just turned 3, and I bought it for his 1st birthday, so he hasn't had the attention span to really grasp all of the facts in this book, but he loves to look at the pictures and tell me stories about the elephants in the book.I highly recommend this for any elephant aficionado!

My husband and I participate in a local book program for under privileged pre-schoolers. Each child "writes" a letter, with much help from their teacher and tells us what their interest is. One child said that he likes elephants, so I searched and found this wonderful book about elephants. It has great photos and captions and good basic information. In this program, each child receives three books during the year. I will definitely order this one again if we have a child who expresses an interest in elephants.
