Not fresh
Disappointing that I had to wait a couple of weeks and, more importantly, this item is last year's batch. And no, it's not vacuum sealed; the lid wasn't even on all that tight. Having said that, Sho Koi is a good brand and my fish love it.

Dissappointed in size - small fish get it first
pellets are small to medium - not large at all - maybe tad over 1/4". Perhaps there is an XL or XXL just for adult koi...can get this size at any feed store...

Great food.
Great food., my koi and big gold fish love it! Did take a little getting used to tho, as the pellet size was a little on the big side for my 6 inch goldies. Seems to help keep water cleaner, much better than other foods we have fed. They all are thriving and color has improved on this food.

well if fish could talk
If my koi could talk I am sure they would have plenty to say on this food. Talk about excited when it is feeding time! I like that the water is cleaner with the no dyes and they sure seem to enjoy the large pellets floating at the top of the water.

Quality Fish food
While not the cheapest fish food, it is superior quality. I have seen growth over the summer in my younger fish and their colors are bright and striking. Does not cloud water. No waste.
