VERY POOR Wifi range, but cameras work great if strong enough signal
I have conducted extensive testing with these IP-cams. They have great features but extremely poor Wifi range, which is the bottom line. What happens as it loses Wifi range is a myriad of different errors. The confusing part is that it will connect with the Wifi, BUT IT WON'T produce any video playback. As the range increases, the cameras will go from 1. Connectivity, camera configs/options changing, video/audio coming in share 2. Connectivity, camera configs/options change, video connect but no playback (ie a "black screen") 3. Connectivity, camera configs/options change, "Network Error" message on video/audio playback. I have tested at least 8 of these cameras. Sent back some, kept some since the ones closer to the router will work OK. Yes, I moved the wireless-G router around to confirm my results. I put it up on-high, had several room-changes, more walls, less walls, you name it. Even centrally located, as you walk out to about 35 feet, the problems start. If you buy some wifi repeaters, they may be better obviously. But, out of the box, these things will leave you scratching your head about what's wrong. The connectivity will always be there, regardless of range, AND you can change the configurations, which will take effect. But the VIDEO streaming will go from good, to marginal, to black, to "Network Error" as you increase range. The first one I bought worked flawlessly since (which I didn't know at the time) it was in range with a strong signal. The others purchased, were frustrating at-best. When I put the frustrating ones into the spot where the "good one" was, it was fine. I had to use my Android phone's wifi strength meter to determine where to put the cameras, those that I kept. Still couldn't reach over by the windows where I needed them most. House is 2 story 2450 sq ft with nothing special and not a McMansion. What these things really need on their options and configuration menu and/or the YooSee app is a Wifi meter that shows how "good" the connectivity is once it says it's connected and the blue "connected" light goes on. Once you start streaming video, if in range, the blue light will blink. If out of range, when connecting the blue light will go out, and you get "Network Error" or the black screen, depending upon how "far out" you are within range. The camera will show offline after "Network Error" requiring a power-off/on restart. From the "black screen" video stream only Wifi range, once you hang up, the blue light will come back on and show being online again. The black screen Wifi range is the most confusing since it connects, yet gives you no video/audio.... Move it closer to the router, and boom, you get both. So, there you have it. If they fix Wifi range, great camera. I also have several other wireless cams from Netgear and Trendnet, and they have FAR BETTER connectivity, Wifi range, yet not as good on features and storage capability (which is why I bought the Intelspace cams and put 128Gb micro-SDs in them).EDITED UPDATE: I ordered a TP-Link WA854RE Wifi Range Extender and configured it for my network. With the assist of the range extender, I can now connect with the cameras in all the places I need them. The most confusing part with these cameras is that they don't have a "signal strength" LED(s) or anything in the YooSee app that shows level of connectivity from (good to poor). The blue light on the camera is TOO MISLEADING. And the app will show the camera as "connected/online".... but when connected with POOR Wifi signal it will only allow the changing of settings (which will work), but the Wifi signal is just not strong enough to VIEW VIDEO... With a weak signal, you will get "network error", or black screen, sometimes a single "snapshot frame" of video, then hangs...... It drives you nuts. Until you finally figure out that it's "range-bound" as to how/when you get these various types of errors. So, if they improve the wireless range or at least have some sort of Wifi signal strength LEDs on the unit, I'm still leaving this at 2 stars...... With a wifi extender, it may go to 3 or 4 stars. Now I have to take some video snapshots and streams to the microSD card to see if I can get playback. I may update this review again. Wish me luck. Sheesh.

Went from 4 Stars to only 1 Star
If I would have rated this item when I first got it almost 3 months ago (November 2015), I would have given it a solid 4 stars. But now, I hardly give it 1 star...The initial setup and its app are kind of clunky and can be confusing, and the instructions that came with it are poor. Also, the camera itself is NOT the one pictured on the instructions at all! But, I was able to get it set up and find out what certain app screen icons meant by emailing the seller back and forth several times. The seller at that point in time back in November 2015, always replied back within the day, if not a few hours later, even on the weekend.Such is NOT the case now. Having BIG, BIG troubles with the camera for almost 2 weeks now, which renders it totally useless about 50% of the time. What good is a security camera that doesn't let you "see" in real time what is happening in the area you are monitoring??I emailed the seller TWICE in the past 8 days - using two different emails that I have for him/her and which were used in the past, but still have NOT heard a word back from either email I sent to either one of the seller's email addresses.I don't know if my camera is defective and needs to be replaced under warranty, or something else (possibly the seller's server??) Apparently, the seller cannot be bothered and is not standing behind his/her product.

Fraud reviews and product!!! Don't touch this!!
I ordered two of these and should have just burnt money because this was a complete waste. First my camera that showed up looks nothing like this. First red flag right there. Secon neither one connects to the app Yoosee. I can't get it to connect to my wifi. I actually have it a month to try again to see if they updated the app and now it's even worse and Won't even try to connect or login. No instructions and nothing online. Now that I'm reading back the reviews praising this are obviously fake reviews. Look at the English and how it's written. Pet keeping? So mad this shouldn't be allowed on Amazon total fraud.

Did not work for me
This camera did not work for me. I followed all the instructions and the camera just never responded after plugging in the ethernet cable. I have another IP camera that is similar and the instruction concept was the same. I think I just go t a bad one. Maybe it will work for someone else but at that price tag, I think I will take my chances with another brand.

Bought a Furbo as a replacement and it's been great!
Just completely stopped working after a couple months. The user experience is confusing and weird and customer service is non-existent. Bought a Furbo as a replacement and it's been great!

Timestamp wrong and no access beyond our Wi-Fi range
Great WebCam with many features at a great price! Problems at first consisted of the timestamp giving the wrong time and access to the Internet beyond the Wi-Fi. Both of these issues are resolved once we corrected the IP address setting to dynamic rather than static. Another device on our Wi-Fi was blocking the IP address of this WebCam.
