It is built so cheap, that inside and outside sheet metal dents and bends in the shipping box. So You call for HASSLE FREE warranty. Yes , no problem. Right. First You have go to dealer, any dealer. But ASA must authorize it. My service place call them for authorization and had been told, that they had nothing to say on this case. 30 minutes before ASA told me to talk to my service and that they will talk many for labor (hourly rates). So I call ASA again. Than it started. Send as picture of unit. OK. Send as VIN of Your vehicle. ??? Who install that? I did. It is direct replacement for old Carrier unit. After 2 weeks I been told this:Thank you for the clarification.The Advent air conditioner is designed for use as a RV roof top air conditioner. The use of this product in other applications will void the manufactures warranty.Unfortunately, due to the unauthorized installation, we are unable to honor warranty for the unit you purchased from an on line company.Additionally, I have copied my supervisor on this email correspondence to keep him aware of your aftermarket on line purchase as well as the unauthorized installation.Best Regards,Tori LxxxdCustomer Service RepresentativeASA Electronics877-305-0445 phone574-266-1533 faxasaelectronicsMy problem is that I bought it for my truck witch pulls camper and is custom made rv.So to make it short.
