The Sacred Space books and website (www.sacredspace.ie) do a wonderful job of helping the reader understand and contemplate Holy Scripture. This small Advent/Christmas book covers the First Sunday of Advent through Epiphany. Identical material is also contained in the Sacred Space Prayer Book 2016, a larger volume that covers the entire church year -- Advent through the Saturday following Christ the King. But the shorter book provides a bonus: "An Advent Retreat," containing six sessions designed to last 20-25 minutes each.

This is the best source of contemplative short readings around which to organize a daily regimen of reading and prayer to track the season. The Irish Jesuits always set the right tone and pose the right questions.

Perfect for the price
Didn't fit my current Advent needs but this was a great book for my Novus Ordus mother in law. She found it very spiritual and the perfect addition to her advent readings.
