Really nice weather proof plugs. Terminals easily accepted all the different gauge wires I used 14, 16, 18, & 22AWG without any crimping problems. Definitely helps to have a good multi-gauge crimper. Only negative I have to say is that the instructions are seriously lacking. These only work right if one installs the male terminals inside the female housing and the female terminal ends inside the male outer housing...how hard would it be to include that information and a small diagram in the package?All in all, it's a great plug set constructed from well made materials. The yellow seals are made of a quality silicon so they don't look like they'll rot and crumble away quickly. They are also flexible enough to stretch over the thickness of a 8AWG coated wire yet the opening is small enough to tightly fit over a 22AWG wire. I would buy this again.

The non-inclusion of any form of direction of what pieces go where and in what orientation is the biggest fault of these connectors. Luckily review pic's here gave me just enough of an idea of what goes where, to work out the rest. I Always solder wires to the connectors and don't rely on a mechanical connection to hold the wires in place. The rest worked out fine. With a little patience and done properly, very good connections can be made that work flawlessly. If you will be connecting and re-connecting these frequently, they may not be the connectors for your particular needs. In that situation you might want to buy the more expensive Molex ones and if you need waterproof use more expensive ones that are OEM style.

I had a bit of trouble getting these assembled properly; I did find the way to assemble these see the attached pictures. I cannot speak to the durability or waterproofing yet, but I will continue to use these connectors—overall good value for the price.

I’ve been asked what I like and what I don’t.Like: they appear to be designed quite well, look like they should be waterproof, and are cost effective.Dislike: they need a special crimp tool head that I don’t have. You cannot use these to make the waterproof seal unless you have the right head. They came with no assembly instructions.So I haven’t used them on the application I bought them for. I found another hardware solution without having to pay out for the tool for now.

Somewhat cheap. Some of the pins broke when crimping them and some of the plastic connectors broke when trying to put the pins in them. I haven’t tested them to see if they are waterproof. I wouldn’t recommend these for use around water unless you seal the putter ends better. The yellow gasket does not seem like it would hold water back.

I got tired of cutting broken connectors out and soldering or using individual wire connectors.Factory mfg connectors cost $30 to $60. So I got this kit for those times I need a quick fix with our soldering of the massive bundle of individual wire connectors.

Some reviewers left some pretty bad feedback for this item (2-pin weatherproof connector) if you think it is weak, breaks easily, hard to assemble, won't lock or makes a bad connection, it just shows that you did not assemble it correctly. These connectors are built of really good and strong parts that seal against water perfectly. I assembled 15 of them without a problem. Good product that I will buy again.

Fantastic connectors... perfect match to any...all GM connectors... great quality...no plastic injection mold flash (extra plastic you would have to file off or clip and remove.) Stay connected...fit together perfectly...weather proof gaskets of synthetic polyurethane rubber will last a lifetime i am sure. Every car i rebuild and restore i only use these to give my customers the best quality wiring possible
