Great Hair Product
I purchased this because it was recommended by a beauty blogger that I follow. I have dark hair that gets oily super fast and creates a greasy shine. I have tried other dry shampoos, such as Loreal, Suave, Tressame, and Dove. Each one of these need to be sprayed on like hairspray and leaves a chalky touch in your hair that you need to really brush out. I hated the way my hair felt when I touched it.The Stila hair refresher is straight up a powder. Its unique bottle is designed so that you squeeze the bottle and puffs of powder shoot up to your hair. You still need to work it into your hair, but it feels light and airy (like baby powder). The scent is feminine and clean, and it absorbs the oil from your head. It's definitely on the pricey side, but I think it works the best and will last you a pretty long time.

Great product, gets the job done
I have blue-dyed hair and can't wash it everyday. So in between washes, I've been using this. It works really well, soaks up excess oil and leaves my head feeling perhaps not as fresh as a water-shampoo, but good enough to get through about 2-3 days without feeling gross. I would say it requires the use of a natural bristle brush in order to comb out/through the powder so there's no trace left behind. After a few days it does leave some residue, but it is easily scrubbed off when you do take a shower. Probably not the best product for those with really dark hair, but as for medium to lighter colors and, in my case, blues, it works fine and is undetectable. The scent is really light and not overpowering, even after a few uses.My only complaint would be that the application process takes some getting used to, since it can come out really fast and at a weird angle. Even if a lot accidentally comes out, it's not a big deal since it's easily brushed out. For really greasy days I squeeze the bottle lightly and use it all over my scalp (massaging it in with fingers first, then brushing it out with a bristle brush). On not-so-greasy days I can get away with just putting the powder on my bristle brush first, then combing it through my hair.It works great, would highly recommend. I bet this will last me anywhere from 6 months to a year, so it's worth the price. I prefer this over the aerosol sprays because 1) sometimes the air/pressure leaks out of those, and 2) they can sometimes leave a sticky residue on the hair.

Kinda chalky - it does have some issues.
PROS: It does absorb oil in your scalp. Very nice smell. (Jade) Lasts forever.CONS: It really dries out your hair when you use it. Pretty chalky texture. This is my first dry shampoo, and while it does take oiliness away, it leaves a chalky layer on your scalp that is yucky to the touch. Additionally, when I use it, I prepare for the dry after-effects on my hair. When you wash it out in the shower it is abrasive to the hair and I have to deep-condition to compensate. Oh- and if you have this in your hair and you get rained on---or your hair gets wet- -- you have to dry out and re-apply. Sometimes that doesn't work and you end up with a mess of crap on your scalp. applying more than once doesn't seem to improve matters.I bought this because I have relocated to a colder climate where I take less showers and try to spare my hair the dryness of washing it too much.

Seriously, this is baby powder with mica in it.
I've been duped; the word crème implies cream or a think consistency. This is fine cornstarch type powder with mica in it. I get the same benefits using this product as I do using Lavender scented baby powder which costs about $4.00 and has about 300% more product. So I paid over $25 for a little tiny container of baby powder plus mica, I'm so embarrassed. Worst of all, I can't get it to come out of it's little applicator so I have to shake it onto my hand, like baby powder and work into my roots. And yes, I did take it out and cleared the tube of the powder, but for the price of this product you'd think that the packaging itself would be quality. This is by far the least satisfying online purchase I've ever made Online.

great stuff but look elsewhere for same quality, easier to use
The product is perfectly fine, but is harder to manage and much more expensive than other similar products. NYM is very simple, smells fine, is virtually invisible, and is much less expensive. I worry that people recommended this who were worrying about a less impressive name brand, but this is very overpriced for what something else delivers - fine scent too - for much less. Again, nothing wrong with this product, but unnecessarily expensive.

Lifesaver!
Love this. I've been needing a dry shampoo because i can't wash my hair everyday. I also have bangs that get greasy and used to have to wash and blow dry them every morning, but this totally saves me time. My hair is really long, very over-processed and very dry at the ends, so i've been told by my hairstylist to wash it 2x/week at the most. My problem with that is that I work out and it makes my roots get very oily after like 2 days. I've tried the aerosol dry hair shampoos but the cans keep getting clogged and they usually make my hair feel a little sticky, like it feels like theres stuff in my hair which i hate. I never use hairspray because i cant stand that feeling. This doesnt do that at all. It's a small bottle thats very easy to travel with, it leaves your hair feeling clean and light, smells nice, not strong at all, it's the best thing I've ever found. Ye's the bottle is small but it will last way longer than those aerosol ones. I see it easily lasting at least 6 months because you dont need to use so much. I have very black hair at my roots and i was worried about it looking chalky with the white powder but if you just take 2 seconds to rub it in it just disappears. It's great, if youre wondering if you should buy it, just do it. You wont regret it!

Very useful
This dry shampoo being in powder form is really useful, as it more absorbs any grease rather than spreading it around, only possible problem is that is makes hair pretty much matte, so if you want your hair to still look shiny then this isn't the best product to use.I personally really like the product as the powder gives my hair a little volume boost as well. The smell is also very faint so if you don't happen to like it it won't bother you after you'e put it on.All in all, it's a good thing to have around if you're going camping, or have dyed your hair and can't wash it too often.

Brilliant!
I was dubious about this item, but bought it because the reviews were fantastic. I'm happy to be able to write one of my own now! The scent is gentle and pretty, and the product itself is like a fine talc for hair. It absorbs oil the instant it touches your hair, and helps it look less greasy. LOVE it!

Lovely product!
This is basically super fine powder that smells lovely and clean. A few puffs over the head and a quick brush and my hair feels soft and not at all greasy. I really recommend, as it lasts for ages and is so much better than spray cans, which can make me cough.
