Knits by Hampshire Women's V-Neck Tunic Sweater with Pockets

Love this Knits by Hampshire Tunic sweater, it's exactly what I was looking for: it's long and loose without looking like a tent. The simple V neck is not cut too low, it looks classic. The sleeves have ribbed trim at the cuffs, making it easy to turn them up. There is a ribbed band at the hem also, so it sort of hugs the thigh area. There are 2 little front slash pockets which are fully functional. If you wanted to you could squeeze a smaller phone (iPhone 5) in the pocket just for a brief moment tho, it would stick up out of the pocket, which is only 4 inches deep. It also would weigh the sweater down, causing an awkward appearance due to the stretchy knit fabric. Best to use pockets for very light items, like a tissue or chapstick. The fabric is 100% polyester, it's super soft, feels nice against the skin. Washing machine safe, cold water gentle cycle, tumble dry low and remove promptly.I'm 5'2", bought size Large, my butt was completely covered, down to my upper thigh. The sweater runs true to size (Large fits bust 41-42, waist 34 - 35.) I loved the black one so much, I bought 2 more. Merlot is a rich, wine color, great for fall or winter, even works well for Christmas. I wore it with Charcoal grey leggings and ankle boots. I also got the Night Sky blue, a stunning royal blue that paired great with black leggings and black boots. I'm very happy with all 3 sweaters, and I definitely recommend trying one or more before they sell out. I may get a 4th: the pale grey one, Ash Melange, is next on my radar!

I am always hesitant to purchase clothing online because I prefer to try the item on first. I went out on a limb here as the tunic length sweater was exactly what I have been looking for. I got this sweater in Size Medium in the ink color. When I opened the package, I immediately tried it on with a black pair of Ponte leggings. Perfection!!! The sweater for perfectly, hung nicely, and the length was perfect to cover my rear and upper thighs. The material is soft, seems to be very well made also. I am a bit perplexed by the "ink color" though, but in a good way. In some lighting, it appears to be a beautiful deep blue; in other lighting, it almost has a deep purple hue. No matter though, looks great with black leggings. The two pockets are a cute feature and the v-neck is modest. My only complaint is that I wish the sleeves were a tad bit longer, but I do have long arms and will likely push them up anyway. I have this problem with many tops, so before I hang or lie flat to dry after washing, I simply stretch the garment from the cuff to where the arm connects to the sweater...perfect length. I am so happy with this sweater and cannot wait until the other one I ordered in Heather grey arrives!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!! :-)

I bought this in medium and large and found the medium to fit much better. It's very flattering in the medium and skims my body nicely, the large was just too oversized.It covers my bum which I kind of like. It will look great with skinny jeans and tall boots. The night sky is a gorgeous blue color. The Midnight Merlot is also a very attractive color more of a purple wine that a red wine color. The fabric is very soft but it is 100% acrylic so I expect it to be staticy.For reference I'm 5 foot 4 inches, 145 pounds. In the Patty Boutique brand I typically wear a size large. I hope this helps someone.

I'm a 12 and bought the XL in Ink, as I wanted an oversize fit. It's oversize, but I am by no means swimming in it. I love the length, color (reads as deep navy to me) and pockets. It's also incredibly soft, and looks great with leggings or skinny jeans. My issue is the static! I guess it's the material but this sweater clings to me all over and is so full of static I find myself taking it off as soon as I put it on. I put it in the dryer (which I do not like to do with sweaters) on low heat with several fabric softener sheets and it did not help. I'm going to try hand washing a few times to see if that helps. I have never experienced such static in any of my clothes. If anyone has any advice, please let me know, as I'd love to wear this.

The color is a beautiful shade of blue. The fabric is very soft, drapes well, and is the perfect length to wear with leggings. I am 5'6", usually wear a size 14, and ordered the XL. The large would have probably worked OK, but I'm glad I ordered the XL, because it works really well with leggings, coming to mid-thigh. So far, the sweater washes well in the washing machine. My only negative complaint was the lack of other colors available. As much as I love the sweater, I would love to order in other colors.

The only complaint is that it's acrylic - which means picking up static and pills. However, the look is fabulous. It's shaped so it isn't this "blocky" tunic look that makes even thin ladies look chunky. I'm 5'6" and 157 lbs. Extra large is actually too large but I love that it doesn't cling and hangs nicely. And it is long enough to qualify as a real tunic - very wearable over skinny jeans and leggings.

This is an easy to wear sweater. The feel is soft, silky, and smooth. The colors are true and have remained so. I bought two of these, one in grey and one in black,to wear with jeans, and they are appropriate for that purpose. However, I have noticed that after two or three washings in cold water on the gentle cycle, the sweaters are beginning to pill, so they won't be used for anything other than casual wear. I gave them four stars for comfort alone, not durability.

Love this and will keep it but only gave 4 stars because: It is a thicker, hotter knit than I thought....and it is a tad on the smaller side. Still do-able but I am 5'6" tall and 135 lbs and I ordered the size Small and it is pretty snug. But still flattering enough. Wish it was lighter knit material and a tad looser.
