It's not really "very fine made" as described in the advertisement. It's made in China. There are easily noticeable flaws like stains and a little inaccurate installation of the blade. However, these flaws are minor. If you want a cool toy to play with in your room, this is the one you would consider buying.

Beautiful sword
I ordered this for my husband for Christmas. He forged his own knives so I knew he’d be picky. He was very pleased with the workmanship. Nice blade. Well worth the money.

Great quality and great look for a great price
This is an excellent piece for the price. I bought it mostly for display purposes; however, I also wanted something that would feel good in hand should someone pick it up. I think this katana checks both of those boxes. It obviously lacks the polish of more expensive swords; but for the casual, price-conscious enthusiast, this is a win.

I don’t always act like a ninja but when I do I make sure it’s 1095 carbon steel. This baby is sturdier than my fragile emotions and sharper than the words that come from my girlfriends mouth. If you do buy it just make sure your prepared to become a true Hokage.

Just a hedge trimmer
It arrived a day early. Looks great. Sadly, the blade is not the 1095/T10 steel claimed. It chopped through some finger sized branches, no problem. One swing with medium power at a bottle.....and the blade blunted. Refund was issued.
