EXCELLENT FOR DEEP CONDITIONING
I very much like this heat cap. It's filled with flax seed that hold the heat for a long time. My hair was super dry. Luckily, no breakage or split ends but just seriously dry. A deep conditioning was in order and adding heat to that helps the cuticle open up and take the moisturizing effects better. The terry cloth interior also helps hold in the heat.I zapped the cap in the microwave - started at 60 seconds then added an additional 15 seconds. Cap was nicely warm to the touch. After conditioning my hair, I covered my hair with the included throw-away plastic cap and then topped it with this heat cap. Waited about 20-25 minutes and let it work its hot magic then removed, discarded plastic shower cap and washed my hair. You can see from the before and after pictures the difference the deep conditioning and heat cap made in my hair. In case you're interested in what I used, I researched various salong products (Redken, Matrix, etc) as well as DIY. What I learned about DIY - forget the egg and yogurt and other nonsense. Those molecules are too big to penetrate the hair shaft. Here's my recipe which was just enough for my hair:4 TBL Olive oil2 TBL Unrefined coconut oil (important that it's unrefined)1 TBL HoneyThe coconut oil is thick - think the consistency of lard. When you mix it with the olive oil and honey, it will start to break down but you'll see some little white bits in the mixture. That's ok - it will fully dissolve with the heat of your scalp/head plus the heat of the cap. Don't be tempted to microwave the mix. That will negate the value of the unrefined coconut oil which is oil that has not been heated in the manufacturing process. Have a rag or towel handy as this will drip down your forehead a bit. Leave on for 20-30 minutes tops. Your hair will only absorb so much moisture so leaving it on for hours isn't going to do any more good. Think of a sponge sitting in a bowl of water. Once that sponge is full, it literally can't absorb any more liquid. I shampooed my hair three rounds to make sure all the oil was out and then finished with my regular conditioner, as usual.I think the pictures speak volumes for the results.

Super convenient, retained heat well
I ordered this instead of a more expensive, plug in hard bonnet type hair dryer for a few reasons. I liked that it was cord/electricity free during use so I could use it while in a bath. Also it's way more convenient than having to sit still for twenty plus minutes under a noisy hairdryer. This worked beautifully for my at home Olaplex bond treatment, making a huge difference over the time I tried the treatment without consistent heat.Includes a handful of disposable plastic hair bonnets to keep the warming bonnet clean.I have very long hair and the bonnet had plenty of room and didn't feel at all uncomfortable, just heavy and very warm.

This thing is awesome!
I love that is filled with beads rather than gel. It's perfect for deep conditioning treatments, heats up quickly, and stays hot for at least 10 minutes. I usually throw it back in the microwave once during my session for another 30-45 seconds and then it stays hot until I'm ready to rinse my hair. Much better than being stuck under a dryer for 20 minutes straight.

For sure can be improved, but ok in general
While it is ok for what it is, there are some construction to it and if I find the one u want, I'll replace it. It has a sewn circle section on top that holds seeds in center section, however, the rest is one section around your head and all the seeds either get bundled together or gets all over the place like a rim around your head and does not stay in place. It holds the temperature enough that u need to re-heat it only couple of times to get a full 1 hour of deep condition for my hair.Other than that it is made of good quality material

Great!
I love this product but I have to reheat after 10 to 15 minutes. I use it all the time.

Essential
Loooveeee. Ive used a contraption that hooks up to my blow dryer for my deep conditionings for a long time. But I couldn't do much while under it obviously and I wanted to deep condition while I take my bath so taaadaaaa. This warms up really well, doesn't stay warm too long but long enough for at home treatments.

It Works - easy to use
I love it because it met my requirements to condition and soften my hair. Ease heating flaxseed in microwave. I loved the convenience of being able to move around as my hair was being conditioned.

Good for deep conditioning
Love this cap a couple of minutes in the microwave and you don’t have to sit under a dryer
