I needed a male ADC to a male DVI connector that would connect to a DVI to HDMI converter. No one at the Apple store could help. So I went on line to the Amazon blogs and comments about this adapter. After much search I concluded this was the only adapter that might work. I am happy to report that it works great except for the on/off switch on the screen. All of the USB ports on the screen and keyboard work as well. Apple built this adapter for another purpose.
