Awesome drone. Well worth the price. The negative reviews make no sense to me unless you are terrible at flying. video and picture quality are great. I had one instance where the wifi signal on the wifi remote dropped out but i was able to keep it from crashing by keeping the throttle up until it got back into range. Overall it was a great purchase. I plan to enjoy using this during the summer

The only reason it's 4 star is cause the shipping was almost a month and I emailed about it twice before I got a response from seller. Now as everyone knows, 200 dollars is extremely cheap for this size drone with these features. That being said it is a cheap drone the plastic does break easy but I wasn't surprised for the price. Now past the bad it is very powerful, responses fast to operation I can't say about the range I've seen other people say 50ft that's wrong for my case I have gotten about 120ft or so with no problems, I haven't had a chance to test farther. The video quality is pretty good exceeds my expectations for such a cheap price. Overall this is a great drone for the price just keep some electrical tape handy to fix cracks or breaks when crashed and make sureservations you read all of the directions to enjoy all of the features it has in the screen and on the drone.

really bad product , has not flown a good flight since it came out of the box. I purchased as a gift and what a disappointment it turned out to be. I would stay away from this product. Pay a little more money for something better, it looks really good on the description, however, it is just a bad product.

A toy - not for serious use. Photo quality is average - again for personal "wow" use but not for the serious operator.

Poor quality, poorly assembled, not worth a tenth the money. Trouble getting a refund lasting 2 months. Finally, Amazon intervened to facilitate the refund.

Firstly, as far as I am aware there is no such thing as a "Homeboat" 818S, as the drone is made by UDI and is a Falcon 842 drone. "Homeboat" I am told, is the name of a wholesale supplier. The Falcon 842 drone is upgraded to an 818S, by the addition of a further controller unit, which is illustrated in this advertisement, to allow First Person View, and the drone is then referred to as a "UDI 818S" or as a "Lark". Other reviewers have mentioned the two controllers, and that is why you end up with two, one in the box, with what would have been a basic 842 drone, and one in the separate box, to upgrade it to an 818S FPV camera drone. I find it hard to understand how all these "Five Star" reviewers failed to even notice that the drone they received had UDI and Falcon written all over it, and no mention of "Homeboat".I was mislead by a review of this drone, ([...]), which promised auto-hover, and return-to-base functions, all-weather operation, and a 5Mp camera, where it has neither of these functions, can't be used in the wet, and only a 2 Mp camera. The advertisement does not say anywhere that the camera is only 2 Mp. The same drone can be bought as a UDI 818S, 842-1, Falcon, or Lark drone, for about half the price. Further, these drones had a very poor reputation for the motors burning out, and if you look at customer reviews for the Falcon drone, there a lot of low star reviews all beefing about the motors burning out. UDI have recently upgraded the motors by adding a finned aluminium heat sink, making them less likely to burn out, but the one I received was old stock with the old motors, so I felt well and truly conned into buying this, and paying twice what I should have done.Having said that, most of those complaints are against the review site, and the sellers, where the actual product, if bought at an honest price as a UDI drone, with the upgraded heat-sinks, is quite robust, and fun to fly, and with a 5 Mp camera could be a reasonable camera platform, which was what I wanted it for. I have never flown a drone before, and I bought this as a relatively inexpensive, (compared to a phantom) drone, to learn with. However, you should be aware that once you fit a camera on a drone, there is hardly anywhere the law allows you to fly it. I am not sure, as the law stands that I will be able to make much use of the drone in my videos, which was why I bought it in the first place.You will probably need the following at some time, all of which are cheap and easy to obtain.Spare batteries. The flight time is only about 8 minutes, so you need to take a number of spare batteries for a decent flying time. The cheapest way to buy them is as a pair, bundled with a three-way charger, which allows you to charge up 3 batteries at once, all for about £15, otherwise they are around £8.00 each.A decent screwdriver, as the one supplied is soft metal and doesn't fit the screws that well. A magnetic driver would be best, as the screws are tiny, and easily dropped and lost.More replacement rotors and guards, as these are likely to get damaged while you learn to fly. The cheapest I have seen is a bundle of two motors, a rotor set, a guard set, and landing skids, all for about £8

bought this for my son's birthday. He really loves it. Camera is excellent. Only get about 7 minutes flying time from one charge which isn't ideal so we have bought additional batteries that we can charge up and take out with us

Took a very long time to arrive - 4 weeks! But it was definitely worth the wait - my husband loves it! Hours of endless fun.

Really cool drone. If only they could incorporate fuel cell technology to power these things. Wow they are addictive. This is a 100% enjoyable drone. Buy it you wont be disappointed!

VERY GOOD AND ON TIME!

My 10 year old son loves it, goes out with daddy in the local park to play with it.Got used to it very quickly.Great product.

Once you get a bit of practice in, this works great.

Facile de pilotage et légèreté de l'appareil, il faut peu de temps pour l'avoir en main.La vidéo et les images sont de bonnes qualité, je le recommande pour un début. Prévoir à la commande plusieurs jeux de batterie pour en profiter pleinement.

C'est notre premier drone et franchement ca marche super bien. Il a l'air puissant et on peu quand même voler par peu/faible vent. La manette et plutôt sympa, j'avais des doutes. Mais maintenant on aime bien.avec une batterie on vole environs 15min et j'en ai pris deux autres pour avoir une expérience plus longue surtout quand on est deux.Pour information il est assez grand et je ne conseille pas de voler en intérieur.je le recommande

extremement leger .. et a l'utilisation a l'air plutot solide ... 2 telecommande dont 1 avec ecran HD .. seul point negatif.. doc en japonais ou anglais et autonomie un peu faible ..
