Note, I purchased this item at full price $16.59.This is a good and compact travel adapter. I used this during my 2 week trip in Sweden and Iceland. I stayed at a few hotels and at my friends' home. The placement of the Euro plug provided good space between the outlet and floor. I only used the 2 usb ports and they charged our cell phones. A blue light turns on indicating the device is charging. At night it is a little too bright but I used a trash can to block the light. Button was easy to push down for the Euro plug. The plug snap into place and stay put in the outlet. Easy to push back into place when not using converter. Box is nice to protect the converter during travel. Haven't tried the UK and Australia plug so I can't comment on that. Based on my experience, I recommend this product if you're travelling abroad.

Convenient adapter for international travel but the only issue I have is that at the hotels I stayed at in Rome and Paris the first outlet in Rome had a border around the outlet which didn't allow for the prongs to fully be inserted. The item still worked but seemed rather dangerous and keep falling out. Also, in Paris the hotel we stayed at this item did not fit the socket well so it kept falling out. Besides the issue in fitting the device worked as stated. I use this at home now just to have an additional USB plugs and it fits into the US socket perfectly without any issue.

I bought this awesome power adapter for use on a trip through Austria and Germany. It was everything I hoped it would be and I wholeheartedly recommend it to other travelers. Seriously, this thing is what you're looking for. Stop reading reviews and looking at other products. Just buy this one. (LOL. They're not paying me for this review. I'm just that happy with it.)The adapter worked beautifully in every location that I found a need to use it. The recessed power receptacles in Austria were a surprise and caused initial concern. Then, I pulled out the adapter and discovered it was built for that, too. :-)The Edison plug (i.e. US power receptacle) worked great with my camera battery charger and the two USB plugs took care of my mobile devices.Thank you Kobadals!

I received this amazingly versatile adapter and was impressed with how well it was designed and packaged - especially in its included hard case. I am planning to move out of the country in a few weeks, and wasn't sure if the adapter would work where I am going. So, I contacted the seller, and received a reply (FIVE minutes later) with a photo and description that fully answered my question. With their help, I now know exactly which 2 configurations it will work with as well as 2 others which are not compatible (it will work perfectly where I will be moving). I would highly recommend this very useful product and, if you need any assistance like I did, you can count on their top-quality customer service to help you along the way.

Loved this product! I was able to use it in 12 different countries while traveling last summer and plan to use it when I go to Australia next week! Worked for me in Uganda, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal, England, Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, and Hungary! I loved that it had two USB ports. I was also able to use my travel hair drier with this device (although if you're going to use a hair drier with it, make sure the hair drier has dual voltage otherwise you'll need a voltage adapter). Would definitely recommend this product.

Getting the child proof female socket to work is not easy. I thought sure I would break the adapter before it finally let the outlet plug to plug in. I haven't yet tried the 5 VDC outputs.

Worked great for charging cell phones and other USB devices. I could not figure out how to use as an adapter though for plugging in other cords. Probably a misunderstanding on my part.

Worked great for my trip to Thailand. However, I just pulled it out when packing for my next trip and quickly did a test to verify everything was working properly. Moved the slider to US and now the prongs are sticking out and will not retract no matter what I do. Piece of junk.Also, this is advertised as a "surge protector"....that is not correct. It does has a fuse to protect, but that is different than a surge protector. Surge protection is not possible with a dual voltage device.
