These lightweight wooden blocks, secured with durable rubber bands, add 3/4" of height to each side, making them perfect for temporary use on slightly oversized bikes. Easy to install and transfer, they fit most common platform-style pedals, ensuring your little ones can ride safely and confidently. ## Description Sunlite Pedal Blocks attach to both sides of standard platform pedals to increase the height of pedals for children that haven't quite grown into their bike yet and need a little extra to comfortably reach the pedals. Easy to install and remove or switch to another bike. Durable rubber strap bands the blocks to the pedal. Review: Such a simply made idea, but work - These are such a great idea! I bought for my grandson because we ordered a drift trike, but unfortunately it was too big... which is where these block extenders came into play. They're a great idea, unfortunately weren't quite enough for our needs. But will definitely be great once he grows a little bit more. Only thing I wish is that they made different size options with this brand... (maybe they do with other brands). Overall, this is a great product... such a simple idea, and is extremely helpful to those who are slightly vertical challenged. Would highly recommend! Review: Seems durable but - I wanted something to be able to use the bicycle at the gym (yes I put the seat all the way down but I'm still too short to reach the pedals) I wanted something easy to slip on and slip off when I'm done. These aren't stretchy like that. They seem good otherwise. ## Features - Two wooden blocks and durable rubber bands easily add height to allow shorter legs to reach the pedals - Fits most common platform style pedals found on kids bikes - Adds 3/4" to each side (1-1/2" total) - Easy to install/remove or switch to another bicycle for hand-me-down use - Perfect for temporary use on bikes that are slightly too large for the child ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000MK29H0 | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Best Sellers Rank | #76,685 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #144 in Bike Pedals | | Bike Type | Kid's Bike | | Brand | Sunlite | | Brand Name | Sunlite | | Color | Original version | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 1,801 Reviews | | Included Components | Pedal Washer | | Item Highlight | Sunlite Pedal Blocks for Platform Pedals - Adds 1.5" Height, Durable Wood & Rubber Construction | | Item Weight | 201 g | | Manufacturer | SUNLITE | | Manufacturer Part Number | FBA_4111 | | Material | Rubber, Wood | | Material Type | Rubber, Wood | | Model Number | FBA_4111 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product Style | Pedal Washer | | Style | Pedal Washer | | Thread Size | 1/2-inch | | UPC | 072774041114 783719748202 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | Limited Warranty | ## Images ![Sunlite Pedal Blocks Orange/Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61a3l796HFL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: How to install on pedals** A: Don't try to put these on as a unit. Take the two blocks out of the rubber band, place them on either side of the pedal (put a piece of tape around to hold them in place if you have to, though I could hold them in place easily), then pull the rubber band over the whole thing. It's MUCH easier this way. I'm a 66-year-old woman with no strength, and I could do it in about 2 minutes per pedal. Almost gave up when I tried to put it on all in one piece. **Q: will they work with a exercise bike?** A: No. I bought this for my daughter for an exercise bike. She was so disappointed. **Q: how do they go on the pedal?** A: You stretch the rubber strap over the original bike pedal. Then the pedal will be twice the size. Hopefully, it helps the child pedal easier. It did help my granddaughter. **Q: can I use these on a golf cart? I'm 4ft 10in tall & can't quite reach the gas petal.** A: I don't know. They're cheap enough to try. We had a bad time getting them to stay in place on the bike. Good luck! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Such a simply made idea, but work *by T***A on January 26, 2021* These are such a great idea! These aren't stretchy like that. They seem good otherwise. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product. Maybe not for exercise bike. *by A***T on May 21, 2020* Bought to use with Exerpeutic Folding Magnetic Upright Exercise Bike. I'm short and wanted to make the bike a little more comfortable. But I could not figure out how to attach these in a way that would be easy to put on and remove when other family members want to use the bike. That's no fault of the product. It was a gamble anyway. But I do still think there's a way to do it, especially if you don't need to take them off. These pedal extensions are solid, well built and look easy to install on a regular pedal (especially using YouTube to see someone do it). ## Frequently Bought Together - Sunlite Pedal Wood Blocks, 1.5" - Outgeek 1 Pair Bike Pedal Straps Pedal Toe Clips Straps Tape for Fixed Gear Bike --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/1734728-sunlite-pedal-blocks-orange-black](https://www.desertcart.be/products/1734728-sunlite-pedal-blocks-orange-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
