Good for beginners
I just got into making bath bombs at home. This book is great for having some recipe ideas for blends of scents. I do notice that the author is measuring essential oils by the teaspoon for these recipes. They only make 4-6 bombs though, and that is a LOT of oil for that small of a recipe. Others I see call for 8-10 drops of essential oil. I think she may be mixing up essential oils and fragrance oils, which are quite different in strength. I think anyone beginning in making bath bombs can find some good ideas in this book.

I did not realize it is so easy
This book book is not pretty or entertaining but it does not waste a lot of pages on fluff, it just tells you how to do it!I never realize how easy it is to make bath bombs. Just mix simple ingredients and let them dry. Karina Wilde instruction are clear and easy. I can control the scents and colors. I prefer my bath bombs without colors and I like being to control the scents! Keep in mind that food coloring can stain the shower curtain, but it is easy to omit this ingredient from recipes if you feel the same way as I do.I found silicone molds I used for large ice cubes and they worked perfectly for bath bombs. This is a very easy to follow book, it has a lot of recipes but after reading them you can easily come up with your own scent combinations.Ali Julia review

Can't wait to try these!
The instructions in this book are straight- forward and fairly simple. I love her combinations of essential oils. They are very unusual. The" Mother Earth" Hippie Bath Bombs are the ones I can't wait to try. Others that sound interesting are the" Freshly Mown" Lemongrass and the Evergreen Floral Dream Bath Bombs.

Good for a beginner
I have been making bath bombs for years, and while this has several recipes, they are all very simple and similar to a master recipe that you just tweak a bit. It has some good ideas for the beginner to start with and it could be a good starter book. IT doesn't really go into the detail that I look for in additives but it does make it very simple for someone who is just starting out.

Great recipes BUT food dyes are not skin-safe
The recipes are a great starting point for beginners BUT I wish there was a disclaimer somewhere saying that food coloring is NOT approved by the FDA for skin use and that it may stain your tub. Natural colorants such as herbs and clays or micas would have made this more "organic" and "free of chemicals" like this book claims to be.

This will be fun to try!
I have never heard 'Bath Bombs' before. I love the idea of making them, especially with my daughter. This will be fun to try for the summer and for Christmas gifts.
