As described, smells good, but didn't improve my glasses
Liked the smell but can't say the opaque look of my glasses improved. Probably because they were that way too long.

Fantastic product, used in high-end Napa Valley winery tasting rooms for spotless glassware
Firstly, let me say here, that this product is primarily meant to clean glassware. So it's best to use this product in your dishwasher loaded only with glassware, and no greasy or dirty dishes. And it should also be used alone. No other detergent, no other spot treatment stuff like Jet Dry. Make sure you run it with the hottest water you can. Like, run the faucet closest to your dishwasher until you have the hottest water possible coming from it, then start your dishwasher. You can also wash your glassware in your sink, by hand and get the same excellent results. If spotty, hazy glassware (and canning jars!) is your problem, then do it this way, and use this product..I first bought Kleenite after I moved to far NE Iowa because our farmstead's well water was very hard and had lots of minerals in it. I'm from Northern Cali, near the Napa Valley wine region, and I'm a wine snob. I've been in so many tasting rooms, or really high-end restaurants with flights of wines for each of 4-6 courses, where the glassware has to be impeccably clear and spotless, and here I was with my cloudy-white, mineral-rich canning jars and every single glass I owned was just awful looking. So when I learned that this product is used by many, many of the wineries to keep their tasting room wine glasses clear beyond reproach, I ordered it right away. And it works! Not just my glassware was spotless, but my 200 canning jars of various sizes and ages are crystal clear as well! Some people say the "easy" way to clean the haze off canning jars and glassware is to wipe them with vinegar, an acid, but that never cleaned them one bit for me. Total waste of my time and vinegar. So, I've been using Kleenite for 7 years, now. But there's more to tell!I no longer live in far NE Iowa, and the small town I live in now has soft water, without all those minerals, and my apartment doesn't have a dishwasher in it. But for some reason, no matter what dish detergent I've used, and I've used Dawn, Palmolive, and maybe 5 other good brands, my glassware always looks lousy, not clean, greasy, cloudy, spotty, no matter what I do. And same goes for the clear glass covers for my pots and pans and crock pot. I had forgotten I had a little bit of Kleenite left when I moved in, so with my sink scrubbed as clean and grease-free as possible, I used a tablespoon of the kleenite with the hottest water possible, made sure it was dissolved, then washed every single glass thing I own. I did it in several batches, with fresh water and kleenite each time. The last batch was my pots and pans covers, as I figured they'd have more grease or oily residue on them, and I tell you, I could see the Kleenite lifting off that residue like a tiny oil streak on a rainy city street on the surface of my wash water! After everything had dried, inspected and put away, I was so pleased that Kleenite again solved this problem, which isn't so much based on mineral deposits from hard water. If I could, I would give Kleenite 10 stars, not just 5. If it's not working for you, then follow my instructions/suggestions at the beginning of my review, because I really think people who say it doesn't work "aren't doing it right". If high-end wineries' tasting room managers and staff depend on and swear by Kleenite, then you know it's going to work! When you have wealthy customers from around the world coming to your tasting room to sample and buy bottles of wine that cost $50 to $150 or easily more, you sure as heck aren't going to pull out some hazy, spotty glasses for them!

Cleans the dishwasher and keeps dishes clear
I put a couple tbl spoons of this outside the pod holder for each run and it keeps the hardwater from leaving residue on my dishes or inside the dishwasher. I just have to be careful not to use too much as it can leave a film on the inside of cups/bowls at the edge of the spinning sprayer on my top rack. Not sure if it is just my machine or universal, but otherwise I love it, and I'm glad it is available on the subscribe and save so I can save some $$.

A Marked Improvement Over Other Dishwasher Detergents
Kleenite is a new product to me, and I was very impressed. All the dishes came out looking shinier, but I most noticed how good the glasses looked. For the first time in years, they really sparkled. I have what is supposed to be a top-of-the-line dishwasher, and I use what is likely the best-selling dishwasher detergent (plus a good rinse agent). Yet the clear glassware never looked truly bright and shiny. If I really wanted that little haze gone, I had to wash them again by hand -- using a sponge and regular dish detergent. For some reason, that powerful dishwasher and good-quality detergent couldn't get that last bit of dullness off the dishes. (It was, of course, on everything -- I just noticed it more on the clear glass.) So I'm pleased to find a product that takes cleaning up that extra notch. And by the way, I don't live in a hard-water area, and my water heater is turned up to the recommended temperature for dishwashers. (I.e., "ideal conditions" for an automatic dishwasher.) This makes me suspect, then, that MOST of us are not getting the sparkling clean dishes we want. These "good" dishwashers and "good" detergents just aren't doing the job. You might give Kleenite a try and see if your dishes come out more like you expect that they should -- sparkling, clean, and attractive.

Not impressed
Bought this to help remove hazing fromGlasses, did not help at all. Used as detergent only once and once as a booster. Best off just using cascade pods alone. Not impressed at all

That's all I use in my dishwasher now
When my son brought me this product, I thought it was to freshen my dishwasher, but soon I discovered that I could just use it as a replacement for the leading brand of dishwasher detergent I was using, which was not leaving my glassware very clean nor the dishwasher smelling clean. This product is far superior and leaves my dishes much cleaner and fresher. Just try it. I just reordered my third canister. I haven't done the math but I bet it's cheaper per load too!

revived my dishwasher
this said it could help clean out a dishwasher and it had a good review. figured it was worth a shot. have used it about a week or so and my dishwasher has started to work better. it had some white scale in it, glasses were cloudy and the dishwasher just had not been cleaning as well as it used to. we have well water so that is no surprise.kleenite said it would clean the dishwasher and help clear glassware. since i have used it, my dishwasher is cleaner, the arms are rotating more easily, the white scale has slowly disappeared, and my glasses are clearing up. actually all my dishes are looking clearer and cleaner.it seems kleenite is living up to its claims. i am happy i decided to give it a shot. it sure worked for me. i would recommend this to anyone with well water or anyone wanting to clean up their dishwasher.

Great for Barware
I am a collector of beer glasses. I have quite a few in my collection that have gained significant value over time. Kleenite is how I clean them. The fact that wineries use Kleenite for their glassware caught my attention. For most of my glassware just a little bit of this and the dishwasher on delicate does the trick. However, I recommend only washing glassware in that load, as fat from food will prevent foam from forming properly on your beer. For the handwash only stuff I mix some with water and use it like a regular dish soap. Been nothing but happy with the results.
