Neurosurgery Knowledge Update: A Comprehensive Review 1st Edition

This book was written as study material for the MOC examinations. I used it for the oral boards. I thought it was a concise review of topics applicable to neurosurgery. I will purchase the next edition when it is available as well.

Succinct and well organized update. As a neurologist, this makes for a handy reference, and my neurosurgery partners are glad that I don't call them as often.

It's enough for both oral and written examinations, very practical and updates are supported by latest evidence based practice. Excellent review

Concise, clear and practical knowledge for practice. Will need a more comprehensive study guide for the written boards, but I highly recommend for any M4 going into neurosurgery or residents currently practicing.

It is an outstanding work that puts together all the relevant neurosurgical material in an organized and didactic manner so we can direct the reading to the point we are interested to recapitulate. It has only one drawback, that is: next edition don't forget to emphasize neurosurgical issues related to fungal, parasitical and shunt-related infections in neurosurgical practice
