School Counselor
Working as an elementary school counselor, I have purchased many books and workbooks to address the subject of relational aggression. I purchased "Bullying in a Girl's World" for a girls group that I am doing as part of my graduate study. This book is excellent and a very good investment. What I love, is that the book is separated into sections for classroom lessons, small group lessons, and individual lesson, as well as a section for parent education. The material is relevant and interesting; there are wonderful graphics that can be copied onto transparency for group discussion. I think this could be used in a counseling agency as well as by parents who want to learn more and work with their children. I highly recommend this book for all school counselors and school social workers as an excellent tool. I am grateful to this author (who I don't know!) for sharing her creative and useful ideas.

Review from Books That Heal Kids
As an elementary school counselor, I've really enjoyed using this curriculum over the past few years. I've used it for individual students, small group, and whole classroom lessons. It really breathes the life into the messages I'm trying to get across to girls and even boys. I've tried out many different relational aggression curriculums over the years and this one is at the TOP for sure. Mine has a heavily worn cover - that's for sure! The curriculum also talked a little about texting and emailing which I appreciated as they are becoming popular relational aggression weapons. I'd like to see a curriculum (a good one mind you) focused just on cyberbullying in the future. You won't be disappointed in this guide.

Good product- No CD
I love this curriculum. We work in an all girl setting, and this is a very helpful tool to combat relational aggression. However it did not include the CD-ROM that I was expecting.

Great resource
This book has some great information for school counselors who are trying to address relational aggression among girls. I have found this to be a great resource to help talk with parents, school community, teachers, and students. It has some good ideas, interventions, and activities that students have been able to enjoy.

I am a school counselor grades k-8 and have used both the power points and individual counseling ideas at my school. They have been very effective. The power points are appropriate for both boys and girls.
