Great for making a dramatic visual presentation
I obtained this for a nephew to use with his charcuterie board. His Mom engraved his initials into a board she purchased just for this purpose and this is a perfect compliment. The edge needs to be touched up and though it isn't expected to be anything like a VG10 blade, presentation is everything for this purpose and this will do exactly what is needed. It is reasonably light and the blade is thin, not bulky so I think this particularly discerning young person will find it works as well as it looks.
