Q: What is the thickness of these patches? I may want to use them for patching round balls in my muzzleloader.

Muzzleloaders need the thickness in thousandths of an inch.

Q: Is this patch lint free?

I would say they are lint free however you can get some strings pulling off the edges of the patch depending on how cleanly you cut them. One of the best patches I've used. I will buy them again.

Q: Can you use this to clean an AR-15?

Yup. More like cloth than the flimsy square patches I used. Cut them into 2 inch strips. Since they're large, they could be cut down to clean 22s.

Q: What is the thickess? Please someone with a micrometer give me a ballpark idea. Thinking about them for muzzle loading.

The patches are on a roll so they stay neat and in order. As far as the thickness i do not have a micrometer but in using them for my rifle, 50 cal. it takes two to get to the thickness I want. I like them and soon will ordering again. In need I have used them for a patch for round ball shooting as well as cleaning. Worth the price.
