Great sound quality
They are lightweight and convenient to carry. On the other hand, they do not feel like they fit well in the ear because of their lightness when placed on the head. Also, the parts will break easily if not handled with care. The sound quality seems to be good, as all people rave about the sound coming from this headset. Perhaps it is not only the voice transmission, but also the excellent noise cancellation function. I have been using them for seminars for more than three years now, and they are still working fine as long as I take care of them.

Feels flimsy but works very well
I wanted a light weight headset and wow does this qualify! People I game with say that my voice sounds great!I do miss the mute button and volume control that were in the right ear of my old headset - guess I had to give that up for it to be as light as it is. On this one the volume and mute switch are half way down the cord on the right hand side.

Noise Cancellation Could Be Better
I use Dragon NaturallySpeaking A LOT! I purchased this headset specifically because my ancient headset was refusing to work anymore. When I plugged this headset in, I expected it to solve all my problems. However, this was not the case. Dragon would lag in its dictation and refuse to shut down when I commanded it to. I kept using the task master to shut it down manually and then restart it and that was not fixing the problem. I kept running the audio wizard and that did not fix the problem, either. Eventually, I uninstalled the program and then reinstalled it. I am not sure if that helped, either. I combed Google for an answer, and eventually I found a suggestion that I open the "Options" selection under the "Tools" menu, go to Miscellaneous, and then set the slider all the way to the left in the Speed versus Accuracy department. That seemed to do the trick. It is hot in my apartment now and I am sitting with the air conditioner and a fan running. I turned them both off and practiced some dictation, and things seem to be working. Then, I tried the fan which is located fairly close to me and Dragon slowed way down again. I turned off the fan and then turned on the air conditioner, and the noise cancellation property of this microphone finally kicked in. Apparently, the noise cancellation works if the noise is fairly far away but not if it is right in your face. This is okay, I can live with this, but I docked my review of star because for the price I paid I expected super noise cancellation. On the other hand, this headset is very comfortable and works fairly nicely. It is plug-and-play, all I had to do was plug it in and get started. There is one more con: the cord is fairly flimsy. For the price I paid I would've expected a braided cord, or at least a heavy cord that will last through the years. Nevertheless, I needed a headset microphone and now I have one.

Exceptional mic and good audio quality.
Due to Covid-19, I am now working from home on most days. We are doing a lot of video conferencing as result. The feedback I received from a colleague was that the earpiece I was using was really bad and he recommended getting this headset instead.I ordered this but was a little apprehensive at first as my wife did some research and found that the price I paid for was much higher than what Amazon used to sell it for. In addition, this model is a couple of years old. However, whatever reservation I had vanished when the headset arrived.First of all, the mic quality is exceptional. During video conferencing, it sounds way above the rest who were using other mics. If you are looking for a headset with a fantastic mic, get this one. This is its best attribute. The headset uses a USB connection rather than a 3.5mm jack. So it is limited to laptops and devices that has a USB port.Audio quality was also excellent. While obviously not as good as a $300 headset I owned in the past, the audio quality is still very good. I really enjoyed listening to music using this headset. Volume is also good.Overall, this is a very good headset and very good value for what you are paying. As mentioned earlier, I paid more for this headset than what it used to sell on Amazon but I still think that it is worth every cent and a steal for the quality and what I am getting. The selling point for this headset is the mic quality, so if you do a lot of video conferencing or dialog, this will come in handy.Love this product.
