I bought two of these. They look and work great.

Very nice and good quality. I wanted one that would accommodate a block of butter, or 2 sticks. It does that, and looks good too.

PROs: color, texture, minimalist look, generous size. CONs: it's a bit hard to pick up. there's not much of raised area at the bottom that would allow to safely lift up the container. you have to either slide it off the edge or use your nails maybe to lift it off the surface. as an industrial designer, i'd say it's a major design flaw. definitely not for elderly who don't have the best hand dexterity. all it takes is to make the bottom edge a bit thicker/ leave more space between the said edge and the surface.

I love this butter dish. It is the right size for the Kerry gold butter. I now have two, so one is clean and ready for a new brick of butter. This butter dish is perfect. I however, use mine upside down for the butter to fit into the cover because it is neater and less messy. I love my butter dish. This is perfect idem for my kitchen.

Sturdy. Have dropped several times, no change.
