When I finally got this product, I was very excited and went to wash my hair and let it dry until it was slightly damp and proceeded to cut my hair using this tool. It wasn't that bad at all and it's hard to notice the layers because my hair is a bit frizzy/poofy, however, if and when I do straighten my hair I'm sure it will look much better. Other than that it is a good product to invest because it will save me time and money to go to the salon to get it done. Also, I am quite picky when it comes to cutting my hair because it takes a while for hair to grow and it is easier to cut it off just like that. It's had to tell a stylist that you want a few inches off but it is hard to show them how you want it cut and when they cut your hair it's not what you thought you would expect it to be. Then you have to pay money for it. I'm just sharing from experience. With this tool, I don't have to worry any more and I can cut my hair how I want it to be cut. :)

What a great invention. I have poker-straight hair and it is incredibly easy to trim with this little tool and my husband's trimmers. It literally takes less than 5 minutes for him to trim my hair and I couldn't even get out of my driveway that fast. Of course I go to the salon for the initial cut and shaping of the style, but for quick trims, this is a life saver. I wouldn't be able to live without this thing if I had kids. This would be perfect for them.

The hinge is a little flimsy, and it's a little hard to latch but I am able to give myself beautiful, layered haircuts in under a minute and people always ask me what salon i go to. I watched several youtube videos to learn how to use this product. I turn my head upside down, brush my hair down, clip the curved clip into my hair, and pull it down and away from myself until I reach the desired length, and then cut the hair at a 45 degree angle. Now that I have gotten good at doing it, I only spend 45 seconds every other month getting my hair cut. As a mother of a 2 year old, that is priceless!

I think the tool itself is fine but the idea of the tool is bad. It will help you get an even haircut but it doesn't provide a nice looking haircut. I think it would be better to just get your haircut at a salon like greatclips which is pretty cheap

This hair cutting tool is Amazing! I'm never paying to go get my hair trimmed again! Works perfectly! Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

It's ok. Didn't do much. Had to angle my hand in an odd position to get the scissors to cut
