Base yoga Acupressure mat/acupuncture mat for Massage/Wellness/Relaxation and tension release

Even though I was skeptical this mat has really improved my sleep. I use it every other night and I have felt so relaxed. Just don’t fall asleep on it, I did for 5 hrs and pretty much woke up my whole neighbourhood peeling myself off it. Do some reasearch on different ways to use it, you don’t just have to lie on it with your back :)

I bought this being a bit sceptical if it would work or not but the first night I did fall asleep a lot faster it is uncomfortable at first but then you start to get a warm feeling and then a tingly feeling and it doesn't hurt anymore. The second night I actually fell asleep on it which anyone who knows me knows how hard it is for me to fall asleep once I woke up I went back to bed and slept all night which is unknown. This has reduced my pain dramatically

This mat is thicker than the brand name version I previously bought. It was also cheaper, but is just as well made. Functionally, the mat is exactly the same as far as the plastic spiked area is concerned. If I had the two mats side by side when considering buying them, I would have choose this one. Very good quality for the price.

Bought this for my partner as someone recommended one to him for an intermittent sore back. And since he has had it/used it his back hasn't been sore again- even though he hasn't used the mat again. It could be due to the mat or a coincidence - guess only time will tell.It is sore to lie on at first - takes a bit of getting used to before you can move to using it without the protection of clothes and it does give you a funny looking rash for a while after using. But if it works that is worth it.The only other thing I would say is be careful where you leave it. I stood on it rough side up by accident (night time trip to the loo!) and although standing on it is supposed to be good for you I wouldn't recommend it with out prior mental preparation. And then one of my children stood on it smooth side up on a hard floor...it skidded... and they had a nearly missed nasty fall... Guess don't leave it on the floor is the message from that.

I decided to go with this version of the accumat, having read the reviews. I had previously tried my friends branded version and fell in love with it,and looking at budget and reviews, thought this would be a good option.After two tedious long waits for the delivery, due to an endless shamble of getting the item delivered, it finally arrived. This was with no help from the supplier, or original delivering company. I'm incredibly disappointed. It's a piece of foam, covered in a cheap cloth with the plastic spikes attached. It's poorly fitted meaning you can see the white plastic foam, and I expect, were I to use this for a period of time, it would become flat very quickly. I'm now going to go buy the branded version.

Excellent customer service, great product. I suffered back pain for months and after a few sessions of acupuncture I decided to have something similar I could use at home whenever I needed to. This has been a blessing and I no longer suffer long term back problems, I use the mat weekly and whenever my back hurts. It works a treat and is now part of my weekly Sunday relaxation regime.

I've used topical creams, pain killers, ibuprofen gels and nothing helped with backpain, used this mat for a couple of 40 minute sessions and my pain has all but gone!

This is so relaxing, if you’ve been thinking about getting one then do it! It’s like a release. I roll mine up sometime and put around the back of my neck. This is the best price I’ve seen for them and they are good quality and washable. Ace product.
