Review: Works, as advertised. - Updated the CPU for my X299 motherboard for the last time. Hopefully, Intel will update the motherboard chipset for enthusiasts soon to support PCIe 4.0 and faster RAM; then I will have to consider buying a new motherboard. Not sure what they mean by "Easy to Lock"...????

**Q: Why is this $590 cpu being sold for almost $800?  the last model is the price of this current.**
A: They became scarce and people get greedy. I saw some people selling them for $1200.

**Q: item for child my soon ?**
A: The Intel Core i9-10900X Desktop Processor is for use by a Computer Technician experienced in custom building desktop computers. However, that being said, home users with excellent hardware abilities can also install this CPU in a motherboard without issue.

**Q: Will this fit a lga 1200 socket?**
A: NO! It will NOT fit a LGA 1200 socket. The Intel Core i9-10900X requires a LGA 2066 socket. More pins for more PCIe lanes.

**Q: Is there a way to know if the i9 10900x is unlocked?**
A: All "X" and "K" Intel CPUs are unlocked. In order to overclock the CPU the motherboard must also support overclocking as some boards are compatible but don't support over locking. I haven't run into any X299 chipset boards that don't support overclocking.
