Gaither Vocal Band: Reunion, Volume Two

This DVD and Volume One ( as a set) is the best DVD I have ever seen of the GVB ( and I have just about all of them). This is not to be confused with the Homecoming Series ( although some of those people were there, they were just in the background. It intertwines personal interviews with a lot of the past and current men so you get to see their heart. The word to describe all this is very REAL.All of the songs are good and a blessing , some are fun and others touch the heart.You won't find a better set from GVB! Tears and laughter, some new songs I had never heard before and even some men who I never knew who they were or how they fit in. I can't say just how great this set was! And together ( although sold separately) its 4 hours of heart stirring entertainment and God's blessings!I was hoping the same format would be used on their later DVD Pure and Simple ( 1 and 2) but that one (two) were just not worth the money and nothing "real" or personal was shown.

I gave this four stars, because it is so casual; however, this does not bother me personally. I like this very much, and was just as happy with it as with the first GVB Union, (volume one). The interviews are informative, so that we know something about their struggles and joys/The fellowship is touching, and seeing people really feeling their faith is encouraging. Once in a while we need to just bathe in it, so we know how good it is. Then when times are hard, we have those good times -of sharing good stuff- to remember. Mickey

Looked ok but there was nothing on the CD. Returned and hoping next one is ok.

I ordered for my elderly father. He has all three volumes!! He loves it!!!

Good value

This video, and the first volume, is a must have for any Gaither Vocal fan. This is a great production and offers great insight into the band right back to its beginning. My favorite part is seeing how God has restored Michael English's life; and career for that matter, and how the other members went on to achieve good solo careers.I have played both videos many times. I highly recommend this set of videos for anybody who wants to listen to great gospel and contemporary Christian music.

Awesome all the previous and the singers now that have sang with the Gaithers get together and sing all the great songs that they sang while in the Gaither Vocal Band

I live the this vocal group, they sing eith joy and conviction. They also have fun doing it. Ivhave a number of there Dvd's, it may sound strange but listening to them can both uplift tand calm the spirit.
