Not very loud.
Bought it as a gag gift for my sister. Pork isn't her friend, she has a tendency to burn it. Got a lot of laughs, but as a meat thermometer not very loud. You almost have to be right on top of it to hear it.

Takes the guesswork out of timing doneness and use of thermometers! Great item. I bought a second piggy for a gift for a friend. It is humorous to listen to Piggy oink when the meat is done!
