Poor set. I understand that it is an inexpensive set, but after one washing, some are already rusting and none of the blades are very sharp. Utensils melt very easily. I would avoid getting this set. Only decent piece was the block and that is just OK.

Anything you need for the kitchen. Quality is good. But scissors arent .sharpe.

You get what you pay for. Bottom line. However, the knife block is nice.

All this for an amazing price, you can't find this in retail stores. Perfect for someone who is moving into a new home, like myself!

I have bought quite a few knife sets and I have never seen one with so many extra things besides knives so this is great. It comes with every utensil you would need to cook; they also have a comfortable spot for your thumbs to grip. The knives are sharp and the wooden block is heavy and sturdy. Got this free to try and I definitely needed this. This would be a great housewarming gift because it would be used every day and it is a very practical gift!!

The whole box of knives came dull. They won't even cut paper. This is pathetic and a waste of money

While this set wasn't a 5 star buy...it is definitely worth the money. You get the knives that you need and several other utensils that come in handy.The only reason I can't rate this 5 stars is because the knives were not very sharp. I'm not sure what the rules are to buying sharp objects online, but no matter what knife I used (for meat or vegetables) it required a lot more effort than it should have to slice through each food item.Nonetheless, I do not regret the purchase -- I just wish the knives were sharper.

I purchased this item for my niece and nephew in law, as a housewarming gift' They seem to like them very much and I'm sure that they will get much use out of them.
