I love keeping a field notes book in my purse at all times for shopping lists, random to-do's and other nonsense, but it kept falling open, folding strangely, and I was constantly losing pens. All I was looking for was a little folio to a) keep the field notes closed, and b) wrangle my pen. This one made the most sense, with the pen slot on the outside rather than in the spine of the notes. I expected cheap "vegan leather" (what we used to call "vinyl" or "plastic") but I figured if it did what I needed it to, I would tolerate it. I guess I didn't read the description well enough, because not only does it actually seem to be For Real Leather, but it also came with four more mini-notebooks and a nicely weighted pen. These are all arranged in a nice presentation box, which would be easy to wrap for gifting purchases. I am very pleased with this purchase, and would recommend it either for yourself, or as a gift.

I absolutely love this notepad. I had one minor issue and customer service was all over it and I couldn't be more pleased. Buy this notepad if you want quality product and support.

He wanted these books as recommended by his MTC teacher to help him keep track of things like miracles favorite scriptures and vocab words they’re small enough that they fit in a white shirt pocket and easy to transport during his missionThe only drawback is that the covers aren’t vinyl there like a heavy duty card stock
