Its easy to build altho the instructions could be better, but just follow the pictures. It says 2 people required, yes it would make it easier but i put it together single handed in around 30 mins. The top thicker board did have slight damage to 1 corner and 2 edges but looks like it was from bad handling transit damage i didnt bother asking for replacements as it was fine for my use. It could be packaged better with corner and side protectors to avoid this as its basically just wrapped in cardboard and parcel tape. Apart from that issue i think its pretty good value for money compared to others i looked at. Yes there are some cheaper ones but read the reviews ....... Review: Excellent sturdy bench. Just ignore the assembly instructions. - Very stable and very quick and easy to assemble, as long as you use common sense and the photos of the product rather than the assembly instructions, which show the legs assembled upside down in every diagram.
