Lovely shelves - Pity about the assembly problems
I’ve given this an overall rating of 3 because it’s not that easy to put together.I actually hurt my hands putting the screws in. You’ll need a lot of hand strength to turn the Alan key (I’m not weak).The cross over bar for the back of the shelves does not fit properly. I was only able to add one of the bars.I did contact the vendor and they just sent me pictures of one that had been assembled- stating that the manufacturer said that it would fit. That didn’t help at all.However, having one bar missing has not impacted on how sturdy the shelves are.

It looks great!
I bought this for bedroom shelves that are on display. They look brilliant. I put them together wrong, one part is on backwards so I couldn't add the supports, but it still looks fine and has worked perfectly. The screws are not 100%, so it's impossible to take apart if you put it together wrong (like I did) so just make sure you've not messed up before you screw everything together.

Good value and good looking product
I bought this to provide extra storage in the kitchen. Very sturdy and can take plenty of weight. The wood effect is very realistic and it has that nice industrial look that is also a bit rustic. My only negative is when assembling, I could not figure out hours to make the two rods at the back cross over. Other than that very happy with purchase and would recommend. Delivery was also very prompt and efficient and item well packaged.

Cheap and cheerful. They look great, feels a little cheap but certainly doesn't look it. Finish off my living room on a budget nicely. I will be buying a second soon

Use a proper Allen key.... And proper screws.
Easy to put together but the Allen Key and the screws are such rubbish material. It's the cheapest screws that when tightening in the timber shelves the Allen key goes blunt and loses all edges as do the screw heads.I ended up using crosshead screws in them because if I need to take to apart. It would never manage it.

Good except for the crossbars
Sturdy and easy to put together apart from the cross bars - they don't cross over well in the middle (I think there should be a flat bit where they do), so whichever one goes on top has to be bent over the bottom one, then it doesn't reach the hole because it's bent. In the end I just left the cross bars off, it still looks nice though

Lovely but use your own allen key
Well, I really recommend this bookshelf it looks pretty good and strong. However, the bookshelf is not easy to assemble with the quality of the allen key that comes with it.
