Works fine
Work great once you figure out how to use them. The main problem with them is the shaft, it would work much better if the shaft was round or square. The mallet slips off sideways on the narrow side if the thin rectangular shaft. Could use a single hole punch added to the set.

Updated Review after use.....
12/18/2019 update... added the last picture.... finishing the project in the pictures... The first project with them.... a inside point cracked in half with light taps at night going through thin backing suede for this wallet. I really had high hopes for these but they are just not up to the task.QUICK OVERVIEWI have used all types of the cheap Chinese hole punch sets and I can say this is a solid 2nd place. Everything you need to know up front and quick is..... They are small... the smallest of all Chinese hole punch sets and it is not even close. If you have large hands like me it will take a bit to get use to them. You will only be using these for thin leather PERIOD.... no pounding threw the tough stuff with these and if you try something will break 100% and it might be your hand. Quality control is iffy as you can see in my 10th picture one of my punch tips was not glued in from the factory and fell out when my wife opened them up in the truck. They do however on thin leather as shown make clean holes and do not clog as easy as some others.QUALITY CONTROLI must say I was a little shocked when the tip fell out when my wife pulled the first one out of the box. I did contact them in hopes they would just send a new punch but the standard Amazon return and they would get a replacement to me was offered and is always acceptable. I opted not to do that and grabbed my gorilla super glue and just went to put it back in place. The hole was not snug but it set up fine. One of the punch heads on the other end was not set all the way in as the hole just did not get finished through the handle. I pried it out as I needed the leather to be able to go through. Other than that they are fine for what they are.PUNCHING IN LEATHERTo my surprise they do make a nice little clean hole. They also do not clog as easy as many of the cheap punches and that is a huge plus. With them being smaller they do get held looser in your hands but have a very solid strike so far. I did try to go through some thicker leather and it just did not want to work at all. These are really made for thinner leather and do that really well....Just wish they were a little bigger..HOW DO THESE RANK IN THE CHEAP PUNCH BATTLE????When it comes to cheap Chinese Punches there is really 3 types now. In picture 14 and 15 you see these on the right... on the left you see the typical screw in shaft most sell, and in the center you find to me the best Yaetek pressed handle. You already know my thoughts on these. The cheap screw in handles on the left are the pits. I learned that I need to apply professional locktight to stop them from spinning out all the time but they they clog so easy and to me more spread the leather than punch it. In the middle you have the Yaetek punches and they are the cheapest of all punches at $11.99 delivered and the best. Large round pressed handles that never come undone. Clean heads that cut clean and do not clog easy. Can be used on thin and thick leather even with bruit force if needed as it has a big steel handle.
