Kevlar Thread #92 - 30 Feet Pack

It is indeed Kevlar!
Definitely Kevlar in case you're questioning it, worked perfectly for my needs. Very thin, you could probably use it in a regular sewing needle with a large opening, definitely in a machine. I used it to repair some welding PPE with a stitching awl. Would buy again if I need more.

Great thread choice for whip crackers!
I wanted to try a small amount of this thread because its expensive and was a bit of an unknown. Fortunately, it turned out to be the perfect choice for making snakewhip and bullwhip crackers. Incredibly durable outlasting bonded nylon thread by 10 fold, maybe more... I ordered 2 - 30ft spools but I plan to make the 1000ft spool commitment asap.

Thread for a need.
I needed this thread to sew a nylon sheath for a knife, so the edge would not get cut open. The Kevlar thread has exceeded my expectations and the way I sewed the edge it is very effective from being cut... A great success!

Easy to use
Easy to use, holds up to heat well. I used it to make shields for my gloves while tig welding, it's held up great.

Try it out.
Utility=5 stars. Value=3 stars. You do not get a huge amount for the money so I would shop around for a good price:quantity ratio. This stuff is impressive. Saws through plastic easily and is very strong. Overall I'm impressed with the utility of Kevlar cord and will buy more in the future.

A little goes a long way.
Project delayed, but the thread looks to be up to the task when I get going.
