Great Non-Smart Television From AVNation
The Samsung QMC-65 digital signage provides a great alternative for those who have cut the cable cord and want a television that doesn’t collect data and/or spy on them. There is no built in camera and microphone, and the product can be optionally configured to connect to your home WI-FI or not. In my case, I connected the Amazon fire stick and set up a wireless connection between my laptop and this product. The picture is stunning and the Samsung remote can be used exclusively to control the fire stick. The only small negative is the low number of HDMI connections. However, you can run the Amazon fire stick through a Samsung sound bar and run that through the CEC HDMI port for unified input control. The people at AVNation answered all of my questions, shipped in a timely manner, and even though their written policy doesn’t provide price protection for lower prices, gave me a reduction as an exception when the price dropped a couple of days after ordering.
